Charli Aster (born August 16, 1999) is an American writer, director, editor, musician, and occasional cinematographer. Their work is defined by a surrealist style, as well as recurring themes of anti-capitalism, queer identity, and alienation. Known for their short films Domestication (2020) and ANAMNESIS (2021), Aster is currently developing their first feature-length screenplay, Sensorium.
