Sofia Duarte What on earth have I just watched?!! OK, I knew this movie would be bad after the first 10 minutes. Brittany Murphy looks like a living doll, her lips are huge, her hair almost had a life of its own due to the amount of gel, the makeup is just too much. And her acting...for crying out loud, it was awful. Don't get me wrong, I know she was a great actress, but in this movie she just gave up, as if she knew this was so bad it wasn't worth the effort. Mimi Rogers and Jay Picket were the only ones worth watching.Everything else was atrocious, the plot, the lights, the unnecessary close ups, the OST was cheap and out of the context, everything was low budget and reminded me of a Fox Life movie. It's not even good for a popcorn time. This movie is bad and it shouldn't have been made.
niccixoxo I think this could have been a GREAT movie, but the acting was poor and the script seemed rushed and awkward. My main gripe was with Brittany Murphy's (Rest in Peace) character. I know its kind of cliché but I expected her to get stronger throughout her journey. She was showing characteristics of a strong woman pushing through trials but she was still noticeably weak. For instance, when she popped the security guard with the pipe and then answered the phone when the boyfriend called, I wanted sooooooooooooooo badly for her to say something smart to him but she just sat on the phone and breathed. Why!? You just did something bad ass! Follow up on that!I really think another production company could revisit this movie with new actors and a touched up script. It had a lot of potential. All and all, I'm neutral on whether I would recommend it. I wouldn't tell someone not to watch it but its not the first thing I'm gonna tell my friends about.
maryr5 I was shocked to see Brittany in this movie. Her makeup was awful. Her hair was awful. She looked like a walking dead person. Her makeup looked like a child applied it for her. Her hair looked dirty, needing a new color applied. In fact, it reminded me of Anna Nicole Smith in the video where her friend's child was allowed to make her up like a clown. She looked very tired and lacked any energy for her profession. The movie was rather interesting but it did look like a movie thrown together and not much money spent on it. I am amazed at how much her looks have changed since she first started her acting career. I watched this movie when I saw her name on it just to see what she looked like and after a few minutes, I regretted watching it as it made me sad to see her deteriorate like she did. I should have just remembered her the way she was.
JenEvans1 A total waste of space. Dean Cain has been in some awful films since his Superman days but this has got to be the worst so far! (Apart from that one with the dragon, and that was so bad it was kind of good). The film was predictable, boring and completely trite. This particular plot has already been done to death and even the 'twist' at the end - which we had all seen coming since the first five minutes - yawn, yawn - was nothing new.I can forgive an unoriginal plot, sometimes I even like the familiar old ones. And I am quite fond of Dean Cain. But, honestly, the acting was sooooooo bad!! Don't bother.
