Like both of these actors very much. First better than sequel. However, wondering what happened to the original house they inherited and just newly painted green? It appears to be a totally different house beyond a remodel...ha! Oh well, guess were not supposed to notice. I enjoy these two whatever they are starring in.

I loved the first All of My Heart. Like others, I felt like the house itself was one of the characters. I looked forward to the sequel to see what was going to happen. But, I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. It was hard to get into it from the very beginning. The house, which brought Jenny and Brian together in the first place, was not the same! How can you do a sequel of a movie which centered around a particular house, and then have the house be different in the sequel? It makes no sense. I think that without the house being available, the script writers needed to make a different house part of the script. It would have been sad to think that the first house was destroyed by an electrical fire due to old, faulty wiring; but, at least it would have made some sense. To have Jenny and Brian stand in the new house in the "spot where we first kissed" just didn't work. It was the same with the goats. I'm sure there would have been some other white goats around. Anyway, early after opening the B&B, there was this fire. With the insurance money, Jenny and Brian were able to purchase another place which they were now having to fix up again, but it was costing more than they anticipated, especially with the storm and all. That way, all the repairs going on in the sequel would have made more sense because the first house was basically ready to go; except for the faulty wiring, of course. All the new expenses with the new house would have made more sense for Brian to have to return to New York to work for awhile. Jenny's whining was pretty annoying. Starting up a new business is hard any time, so sacrifices have to be made. Couples do it all the time. Jenny and Brian's friends were still there to rally around and help them with their new B&B. I was totally expecting Casey and Tommy to get together in the sequel. How could Casey always be saying there were no men around and not see Tommy? Anyway, I just wish the writers could have taken a leap and changed the whole thing to make it be about the "new" house and the challenges that came with that. As it was, the sequel was just kind of a rehash of the first one, only without the charm of the first.

All of My Heart is a Hallmark favorite for everyone and I'm no exception. I cannot count how many times I have seen it so needless to say, after two years when the news of the sequel broke, I was ecstatic--I was going to be a guest at Emily's Country Inn with Jenny and Brian as my hosts. However, when I got there, there were some very big changes . The most obvious one was the house. It was not the rambling green farm house with the pretty front porch. This was a small blue one that looked like, from the outside, it could barely fit a family of four. The next big change was the kitchen. It was so homey in the first movie and now it was "renovated," and lost a lot of its charm. Third was Gabby and her kids--they were different goats all together. Ed Asher was barely in it, and as much as I adore Brennen Elliot and his character Brian, I felt Mr. Elliot did too much ad libbing. Lacey was as charming as ever, however, she did get a big sulky, which was a bit of out character. The romance subplots were okay, but not believable, especially the blogger one. It was nice to see our old All of My Heart Friends, however, that's the risk you make with a sequel--the first one is so loved it's hard sometimes to continue on with the story. I think Jenny and Brian's story can continue, but Hallmark will need to get better writers and please, if that does happen, go back to the original farmhouse. That was truly the "heart" in All of My Heart.

I love Lacey Chabert, so if I'm putting down a Hallmark movie with her in it, then it must be bad. This probably didn't deserve the stars I gave it.There is nothing new in this movie. It is practically the same old stuff as the first one, and much less well done. Scenes with Lacey and Brennen seemed rushed. No chemistry this time. Lara Gilchrist was either doe-eyed or tough witch. Vincent Gale was cliché. Other supporting actors tried.As far as story, at least they got Jenny's side business out of that tiny B&B kitchen into something a little more commercial. On the only plus side I can think of, several little side romances sprung up.Like my summary says: If you are going to do a sequel of a much loved movie, don't just do a rehash but give it a life of it's own.
