Davis P I will say this for American Pie, it's not full out of completely gross out humor like Van Wilder (2002). It's got a couple of scenes based on crude humor, but I was glad to see that for the most part, the movie steered clear of over the top disgusting humor. The characters are good hearted boys that think they just want sex, and for a couple of the characters that turns out to be true, but for a couple other of them, it turns out that just "getting laid" isn't the most important thing. I liked that the characters actually ended up to have a deeper want and that they actually end up having better connections with girls that yes may involve sex, but that's not all that it's based upon. Now this movie isn't all love and good hearted stuff, it's got plenty and I do mean plenty of raunchy/dirty humor. Humor that involves male and female masturbation in different ways, premature ejaculation, and very descriptive talk of all kinds of sexual activities. Just FYI in case any of that offends you. There is some truly funny material in the film, I laughed at several scenes in the movie. I didn't think it was laugh out loud hilarious, but some parts were funny. The parts I wasn't laughing at, I was feeling for the characters. I loved the acting from all the cast members. Tara Reid was really good as Vicky. Jason Biggs was a perfect choice for Jim. Thomas Nicholas is great as Kevin. Chris Klein is very good as Oz. And the rest of the cast is good too, but Kevin, Vicky, Oz, and Jim are the biggest characters here. I loved how Oz and Kevin were so adorable and were actually good hearted guys. I really like American Pie because not only is it funny but it's also good hearted and filled with good characters. 8/10.

Leaphiling Mong The first American Pie is a teenage comedy on the top movie list in 1999, but it's not the best of the seven American Pie series. For me, I preferred the second one, as everyone was more relaxed and knew each other, making the movie better. Don't get me wrong, this one certainly had it's funny moments, but in my estimation it wasn't as good as the second one. American Pie is a classic teen comedy about sex and it inspired a new era in comedy that's still relevant today. It has the crazy and good looking youth we see in today's comedy, but unfortunately also has some really lame jokes and bad acting, that thankful went out with the nineties.If you hadn't seen this movie yet you should see it right now. I'm not convincing you guys to watch it if you don't like teen movies but its classic of this kind of comedy. This might look little bit weird because its like a "Weird comedy".Actually, they aren't weird at all it's very hard to create comedy like this and make a movie like this. But I hardly recommend this movie if you are looking for different kind of comedy something opposite from teens movie like good rated movie with good well known actor and a good storyline or a family comedy because it would be pretty weird watching movies with your children or with your parent. This movie is way different about teenagers life, and their jokes. I could say this was one of the best of this kind of comedy i have ever seen. if someone asks for a comedy movie, i always told them to watch American pie. This movie would be best if you're looking for something really easy and very hilarious to watch as I said already.

John Doe The first American Pie is the worst American Pie. Ever. There are not too many funny moments in the film unlike the others. Yes, the film makers learned to make the other films much funnier but this is just terrible. Only a few key scenes are humorous but not much else. While the acting is good and the story is well written, there is not much else going for it. This is basically 70 minutes (not the whole movie was bad) flushed down the toilet. That one is much more funny. This was poorly made with bad writers. If you want a good American Pie film, go watch American Pie Beta House instead.I give American Pie a 3/10.

gamergcfan The jokes may be predictable, but they never fall flat. The story is good, and it never gets boring. Tara Reid is really, really hot. The characters are well developed. If you don't mind huge amount of sex jokes and anything sex-related, you'll love this. It has some LOL moments that go well with the nice story.Pros:Good storyLOL momentsCons:None I can think of, except it's a bit unrealistic that Vicky doesn't go out with a person much better. She's really hot, and she doesn't have any mental problems, but oh well, guys like hot chicks in movies.10-
