Anna is an awkward, deeply inquisitive young woman living in Berkeley, who is riddled by questions of existence. When her old high school crush connects with her on a dating app, she quickly rekindles her infatuation with him. She seizes the opportunity to follow him back to Marin, under the guise of coming home to see her terminally ill Aunt. Anna's ulterior motive becomes apparent as she lies her way deeper into every situation.
