JohnLeeT Superb direction, screenplay, and stunning production values make for one of the finest horror/car chase films ever recorded on celluloid. It doesn't hurt that the actors are uniformly outstanding in their respective roles with Randy Quaid giving what may well be the performance of his distinguished career. He dominates and mesmerizes in every scene in which he appears, offering gravitas and incredible power to this stunning motion picture. The twist and turns in the plot can never be anticipated and the screen seems to burst into flames of excitement as each second passes. Overwhelming in its intensity and with a screenplay that never fails to shock, this is definitely not a movie for the faint of heart.
atinder I find DVD for very cheap, it was so cheap, I not even going to tell you the price.I thought this would be really bad, it wasn't at all, it was decent movie. First twenty minutes of the movie was really entertaining and there few fights scenes in this movie, which I thought was really good. As the rest of the movie kind of dragged on little, there Friends are on a road trip.Who end up getting chased by some other person in the car, which make them fall out with each other. The rest of the movie is very predicable and the ending was so bad it was actually very funnyI thought acting was really good from the whole cast
Wizard-8 According to the back of the DVD box, "Black Cadillac" is based on a real life incident experienced by writer/director John Murlowski. I greatly suspect that his experiences and the movie only have the thinnest of connections, but that doesn't matter - what matters is if he made a good movie or not. There are some positive things about the movie. While it is low budget, it never looks it - it looks fairly slick. Also, there are some good tense moments here and there. But I don't think the movie quite makes it in the end. For one thing, there are some lengthy boring patches where you want to tell the movie to just get on with it. Also, the twist near the end is not only pretty predictable, it leaves the audience with quite a few unanswered questions that make parts of what you previously saw not make sense in retrospect. There are also some ridiculous bits, like people getting injuries that would clearly incapacitate someone in real like but the people are able to walk afterwards, as well as nobody bothering to wipe a message written on the thick condensation on the front windshield of a car. Don't get me wrong - this isn't a terrible movie - but you'll likely feel somewhat unsatisfied at the end.
Ruttiger Johanssen I honestly don't understand how any human being can possibly enjoy this movie! This is absolutely one of the worst written, acted, and directed movies I have ever seen. There was no real characterization of the characters besides the clearly spelled out, stereotypical, after school special monologues each of the main characters gave at their respected time. And how "Bad-ass" the character with a scar on his face was, you could truly feel his pain and torment.. sorry i couldn't hardly say that last sentence with a straight face. It was all horrible. The entire story was incredibly cheesy and predictable. Watching it with my friends, we were able to predict every single "suspenseful" moment that happened in the whole thing. This is one of those kinds of movies that make me horribly angry at the entire system of Hollywood. I can't understand how this movie is made when i hear about how hard Quentin Tarantino had to work to get Reservior Dogs made. I can't believe that movie producers read this script, along with countless others and say, "Yeah, I think this movie will be great. I'll invest multiple millions of dollars into this piece of non-garbage and it'll make a ton because people will love it!" And the worst part is, from reading other posts and the over 5 star rating on IMDb, that people actually did like this piece of predictable, horrible, cheesy, dumb trash. It's really sad when you can say truthfully that you think Randy Quaid was the best actor in a movie.
