donaldricco This description says it all: A woman fights to protect her family during a home invasion. Yup, that's what this is! If that's what you're looking for, as I was, then you'll be happy. If you are looking for more, don't. The first three minutes start with a bang! And then it slows a bit. The head bad guy seems bored, both sides seem to have multiple chances to win, and the plot holes are numerous. But this is what it is, and I enjoyed it! Gabrielle Union does a good job as momma bear, and the look in her eyes when she dispatches Duncan is perfect! She's right when she says, "You broke into the wrong house."

ntc_1999 The kids were great! It builded suspense well. Lot's of psychological twists and turns. They packed a lot in. Some moments were great. Some drew out a little long. There were misteps, but it was still entertaining.

leondrafair I love the movie Breaking In with Gabrielle Union. It shows the woman as the hero and full of strength from beginning to end. I love when she accredits her protective strength and cunningness to being a mother more so than being a woman. At the end when she's pictured cradling her kids and her husband. It was such a powerful scene because usually the woman is positioned where the man was being depicted as weak and vulnerable just waiting to be saved. I love love loved the movie. Like WOW this is what happens when woman get depicted in truth. So accurate to the strength of a woman period and all we do and are willing to do for our babies.

filipvanhaeren What a boring and predictable movie! This is my first review because I really had to express my opinion! The burglars are afraid that they will be recognized but wearing gloves during the burglary is not necessary. The typical good and bad burglars, the typical pecker ... leave this film minks and prefer to watch a movie like 'the strangers'!
