adonis98-743-186503 The Bakers, while on vacation, find themselves competing with a rival family of eight children. As with most comedy sequels 'Cheaper by the Dozen 2' lacks on the original's humor but also on fun as a whole. The first film was directed by Shawn Levy but the 2nd film is being directed by Adam Shankman and unfortunately there's more chuckles rather than laughs this time around but it's definitely not a bad film of course. There's some good humor here in there, a great soundtrack with mostly old music from the 70's. 80's and 90's but also the acting was of course very good especially from Steve Martin. It's a watchable sequel but it's nowhere near as great as the original film and it's messages are not as strong as the first time. (7/10)
banabanona Cheaper by the dozen2 Comedy ,2005 An American family with twelve children ranging from 5years old Nigel and Kyle to 22 year old Nora the film idea was about 2 families war !! The film was made at the United States,2005 The main role was on Bakers family and my best character in the film is Tom baker because he controlled his whole 12 children !! Really I think all of you should see this film!!
TheLittleSongbird There are some good moments in this comedy sequel, but overall I found it limp and overly-predictable. Steve Martin and Eugene Levy do well as the two dads Tom and Jimmy, in fact the entire cast do well, even Carmen Electra who I can't stand. There is some nice scenery and music, and there are one or two funny parts, like the scene in the cinema and the line about the sweater. But as a sequel to an acceptable first film, it didn't score well with me. I will say it wasn't absolutely dire like I feared, but it is badly flawed. I actually found the gag reels funnier than the overall movie. The story is very predictable, and the jokes are either hits or misses, mostly misses sadly. Another problem was the very weak and clichéd script, not to mention the sluggish direction. Overall, not terrible, but it could have been better with a stronger script and less predictable story. 4/10 Bethany Cox
long-ford This is a watchable but fairly disappointing sequel to 'Cheaper By The Dozen'. The contrived plot has Steve Martin and his family going on a vacation and getting into a rivalry with Eugene Levy's family. It's really that simple. All the characters are clichés and the weak material neuters both Eugene Levy and Steve Martin. Despite limited laughs, the film is watchable as a family movie with everyone learning some familiar life lessons. Carmen Electra is surprisingly decent in a brief role. The film is watchable at home specially if you have kids. If not, than better avoid.Overall 4/10
