foreverknight-46475 One of those movies you can watch over and over again. A pure classic.

Benedito Dias Rodrigues Eddie Murphy starting make some appearances in disguised as the Barber Shop's crew...they stolen the movie,inventive and unique all the characters are funny and remarkable the owner lies all the time saying that have met a lot of famous people... denied at once by the others...the Jewish telling unfunny jokes....this kind of disguise became a Murphy's trademark for the next pictures!!! Anyway the movie is pretty good with a fine plot...Murphy and Arsenio Hall has a good performance as Prince and servant,the movie probable was in my opinion the Eddie Murphy's second best movie ever...but actually since the Norbit he is no longer funny as before....once more even l'd the official Special Edition released in DVD with a lot of extras it don't have the dubbed version available unfortunately...so go to Netflix!!! SnoopyStyle Prince Akeem Joffer (Eddie Murphy) is the pampered heir to the throne of Zamunda. He is restless especially with his parents arranging his marriage. He wants to meet someone with a mind of her own. King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones) assumes he wants to sow his wild oats and sends him off for a 40 day trip. He chooses to go to Queens with his best friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall). They pretend to be African students and get fast food jobs.It is simple fun. The characters are fun. It's the first time Murphy is doing his multiple character thing in a movie and it feels fresh. He and Arsenio have great chemistry together. The romance isn't quite as compelling. This is a simple story which follows a very standard formula. It's not breaking any rules and everybody has a good time.

creta-79965 I rate this 11/10 ... why?It is flawless... the storyline is a joke in itself yet so likable!The movie has many fall of your sofa with laughter scenes in it... this is better than many of the highly rated comedies on IMDb... trust me this an excellent movie... well directed... well scripted... well executed...Eddie Murphy is in his prime for this movie... top class acting along with Arsenio Hall whose facial expressions in the movie are perfect for the scenes he is in.This is my favourite Eddie Murphy movie of all time... As a kid I watched this over 20 times... total classic!
