a-23858 Ok, it's a dumb zombie movie where a lot of people repeatedly make stupid decisions and predictably get eaten. The dialogue is cheesy more often than not. I'm not sure anyone on the set other than Yeager has actually handled a gun. The plot is suspect at times. Some of the characters are behind stereotypical. But there's a lot of shooting, the zombies eat people and there's a lot of action. And it's better than most zombie movies out there and it didn't quite end like I thought it would.

Michael Ledo This is another end of the world formula film. Thomas Rourke (Johnny Strong) is the rogue element who has survived on his own fighting berserker creatures who only come out at night. In Dallas he meets up with a group of people who want to find an airplane (try the airport) so they can all fly off to "Brave New World." Lance Henriksen plays the tough guy the head of the group, and Chelsea Edmundson the token leading lady saved by Thomas. Thomas has a plan, but nothing goes as planned.Like most films of this nature, the budget confines it to a limited amount of sets. The idea that after two years fuel stabilizers might be needed is not entertained. This is a low budget "Mad Max" plus infected vampire-zombies. Characters are stereotyped.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity

dnolan714 These low budget films get passed over by many. This production was top shelf and the acting is good, good story line, and the filming, angles, shots and method was great.Lance Henrikson, a veteran of some of the finest movies made stands out as the lead along with Johnny Strong. Strong played Sgt. Shugart in Blackhawk Down years ago. Solid actor and plays out the enigmatic lead protagonist. Special effects are great, makeup, and weaponry was excellent ! If you're a weapons person, you'll see every known assault weapon, sniper rifle, pistol, etc. you can think of. The actors were handling those weapons like they knew what they were doing. Shows a lot of prep by the production company. Cops and Military will appreciate all of this.Movies like this makes you wonder...what happens if society breaks down, how people react and groups banding together to survive from others.
