dandbandd Every time it is on TV and I watch some scenes I am drawn in. If you are looking for a different movie this is it. It is really hard for me to find flaws. Characters are great. Music is perfect for each scene. So full of emotion. I get goosebumps every time with the scene of Jenny and Forrest hugging at the rally in Washington. This is a fantasy movie and should be taken as such. It is artful and meant to be fantasy set in the real world. Gary Sinise is brilliant and deserved is nomination. Robert Zemeckis is under-rated as a director and this movie shows why he should be taken seriously. There are very few true anti-hero stories out there which is too bad. The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books were but changed in the movies (which were fun just different than the books). Forrest Gump is a true anti-hero with no real powers except just being good natured and pure. Watch this movie and then watch it again!

m-chirino89 Easily a must-watch to any alien visitor who wants a quick summary of human life in the 90's and maybe even why and how we got to where we are... All through the point of view of this charismatics and naive guy. A classic!
