This movie is garbage. I thought i found a nice entertaining comedy from across the world based on the IMDb rating it has, but I was wrong.This so called comedy is full of obvious childish jokes disguised as "parodies" and predictable punchlines and situations, you may think the humor didn't translate well because I'm not from Turkey, but I don't think that's it.Granted this is the first Turk movie I ever watched, but humor can be a universal thing, and comedy is capable of breaking cultural barriers, but this is not comedy, this is just a foolish attempt to make a movie out of a bunch of ideas for "funny sketches", but the jokes are obvious, they felt outdated and worst of all simple, like the kind of jokes a child will tell you, just one step away from "Why did the chicken cross the road?".The worst part is that there is a sequel,but the only way I would ever watch that (or this movie EVER AGAIN) is if I was forced in a "Clockwork Orange" fashion strapped to chair. Movies like this shouldn't exist.

G.O.R.A. is the funniest movie ever!!First of all do not think that "should i watch this movie?" just watch it. It is the one of the best Turkish movies ever.This movie has the best, tech in 2004 in Turkey. The humor in this movie contains a lot of Turkish jokes.I watched this movie like hundred times. And i will watch this movie again and again and again. Cem Yılmaz made a great movie. He is absolutely brilliant man. The scenario, costumes, characters everything is great.You have to watch this movie!!

First thing I want to say about this movie is that it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The movie is Turkish and about 2 hours. 2 hours of unlimited fun and laugh..Making fun of things is what Cem Yilmaz does best. Very original jokes made me and my friends have a lot of fun. To describe G.O.R.A. I can use lots of words like SUPER, PERFECT, BRILLIANT...Cem Yilmaz really knows how to make people laugh.In this movie, he had been in more than one roles and he could handle all very good. I congratulate him. He has done a great job.You have to see this movie!!!
