JeffG-8 Is it a historical novel? Is it a romance? Is it autobiographical? Is it film-maker tries his hand as vodka entrepreneur? Is it the film-maker's search for his Jewish roots? Actually, its all of them combined.Saw this film last night at the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival, and met and spoke with film-maker Dan Edelstyn. Especially interesting since his and my Ukrainian roots cross, but about 15 years removed.Especially liked the interspersing of the present with the past, and film-maker's use of his own family and friends to create the story.Now, if only I could get a DVD of this ...
