Both "Meet The Fockers" and "Meet The Parents" were funny movies and I enjoyed them a lot. I suppose you can hardly blame Hollywood for wanting to give it another go, but in this case I think they may have gone to the well once too often. "Little Fockers" (which I guess is a reference to the twins that Greg and Pam - played again by Ben Stiller and Teri Polo - now have) is at times a humorous movie, but it never really succeeded in getting much more than a chuckle out of me. Polo, at times at least, looked pretty disinterested in the part, and Stiller and Robert Deniro (as his ex-CIA agent father in law Jack Byrnes) stepped back into their roles, but the roles seemed tired. Jack is a character that can work once (and in the case of this series of movies, twice) but really there was nothing new for Jack to do in this movie. Throw in Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand (who were brought back as Greg's parents) and you have the same old cast in a movie that did seem "same old, same old."Jessica Alba was added to the cast as a pharmaceutical sales representative who recruits Greg to be the spokesman for a new erectile dysfunction drug, but I found it impossible to take her character seriously and she very quickly started to grate on me. Owen Wilson was also back as Kevin Rawley - a character who never much impacted me (aside from bugging me) anyway."Little Fockers" isn't a disaster. It's mildly amusing at times. It just seems tired and stale. Two Focker movies was probably more than enough. (4/10)

Back in the day, when producers wanted to flog a dead horse, they would make a straight to video increment of the old series. Everybody know it was crap, but if the fans want to see one of the actors: we have it for you.Bad acting. Bad scripting. Keitel used to be a very strong, very visceral actor. In here he is the Retirement Home Theatre Group. And the rest of the cast is about the same, although I got used of the washed up de Niro going through the scenes lightning fast with the same three expressions.Contact me with Questions, Comments or Suggestions ryitfork @ bitmail.ch

Little Fockers is the third installment of the Fockers franchise after Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers. It stars Robert DeNiro and Ben Stiller together with Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand. The setting of the film is about Greg and Pam Focker's celebration of their twins' fifth birthday.Jessica Alba, Laura Dern and Harvey Keitel co-stars together with the original cast of the Fockers' trilogy.Paul Weitz took over Jay Roach as the director of the film.Greg and Pam have been married for ten years and they are a proud parents of twins.Unfortunately, money has been tight and Greg took a second job working for a drug company to keep the family afloat. This does not sit well with his father-in-law Jack Brynes.Added to that,he also thinks that Greg is into an adulterous affair. To prove that he is capable of supporting his Pam and his grandchildren,Greg decides to hold a birthday party for the twins inviting both the Brynes and the Fockers together. As the festivities get under way, Greg takes his opportunity to prove to Jack's suspicions all wrong to regain the trust and confidence of his father-in-law.It is unfortunate to see that the Fockers trilogy has declined into this. The plot is predictable. The jokes and gags are recycled and no longer funny. The characters have become annoying and are no longer likable. Finally, most of the jokes have become simply offensive and humorless. It is just too bad that the talented cast could not save the film to become at least good and worth watching as there is nothing original nor refreshing in it.Despite of its star power and great commercial success,I think that it is about time to end the franchise.

Little Fockers is the third in a not that great franchise which are a group of silly (but relatable) comedies about embarrassing families which happen to feature amazing actors. There's not a lot of plot; Ben and Robert (Both deserve so much better) arguing again. Same as always. I would like to talk about the good parts of this movie but there aren't any. Seriously. There isn't one funny moment in this film. But, surely we have to laugh once, right? It's a comedy isn't it? This is not a comedy. This is a lazy, pathetic loser of a movie which clearly just wanted to make money, while humiliating every single one of its stars in the process. The direction, script and acting are all dreadful, and the film is so half hearted it doesn't make even the slightest impact. Normally, I write longer reviews but I'm not going to here. This is the laziest movie I've ever seen. If it didn't care why should I? 0/10
