TonyVinLA Rian Johnson is a talentless hack...or the master of taking a great concept and completely failing to execute. How, after seeing this movie did Disney hand over the keys to Star Wars?!? Are we living in an alternate universe?!? This man must be stopped!

cricketbat Looper is a clever film. Time travel is always a sticky issue, but this movie embraces the impossibilities and invites the audience to just enjoy the ride. And whatever flaws this movie has, it makes up for it with its creativity. Plus, Joseph Gordon-Levitt makes a great Bruce Willis. We need more movies like Looper.

joewilliams-01809 It's been a year since I saw this once as a blind buy of buying Blu-Rays, As soon as I watched it, this film blew me away. The cast were amazing even the child actor did well in this film, Bruce Willis was fine while Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt did a fantastic job. The plot was interesting, even if a lot of it are plot holes, but the way it was executed was damn good. The score was meh, the action in this were alright but I don't really care about those just story alone was just creative and again executed well. The director, in Rian Johnson, did a fantastic job in directing this fun thrilling sci-fi film. The negatives outweighs it's negative and I recommend you yo watch this film.

muvi-fan-73 Tone & Story: Time travel movies generally appeal to the sci-fi watching audience. No one knows how accurately they are made, but they ,when made nicely, give you best two hour time spent or so. This movie deals with time travel and assassins whose lives are bounded to be spent till there time is over. They are called Loopers. Rainmaker is a person coming into future existence who kills every looper. The story is further based on how this mass assassination is changed. I liked the script developed on TK mutation as well as revelation of final scene before the movie ends (4.5/5).Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: They were all very good (4/5).Music: Music was good (3/5).Acting: Acting was very good as well (3.5/5).Final Verdict: It is worth adding to your DVD collection [(4/5) (9/10)].
