In episode one, Caren Hartley of ISEN Workshop, uses her years of experience in artistry, metalwork and 3D sculpture to make frames as functional as they are beautiful. Joe McEwan’s elegant and simplistic designs are informed by 20 years working as an engineer in the aerospace industry. His handmade mountain bikes (built in a garden shed) have proven worthy against even the most advanced industry behemoths.
