this film has nothing except ultimate star ajith kumar.. ajith has given a blockbuster action film for his fans and all the other action movie fans.. this is not a movie to go with a family.. if you are an adult you can watch and enjoy this.. all the characters except ajith and Arjuna failed to do well. ash win has did his debut well with a cop.. the introduction scene of ajith and the interval block acting of him are flawless.. i didn't expect such a direction from venkat all the heroines are irritating..yuan shankar raj has once again made a mind blowing background music and his music in vilayadu mankatha, ma chi open the bottle are rocking.. the dialog,"money,money,money" having a huge mass.. th ala th ala th ala is the mantra for this movie. even if you don't like ajith you will watch this only for ajith.. though i am a vi jay fan i watched this movie for 12 times in the theater only for ajith,ajith,ajith.......... mankatha DA

I don't UNDERSTAND How on Earth this movie can attain 7.2Stars but this is Poor movie ever in Tamil cinema. There is NO proper story and logics in most of the scenes like in IP address and container exchange etc etc. Ajith was a GOOD actor earlier but now doing movies as if HE come out of the Dog's home or i mean HE lost his power to act. Either Way, HE is at his Worst. Premgi was irritating to the core. He was OK only in 600028 movie, but off late we could not tolerate his nonsense in the screen. I don't understand the point why this movie needed lot of characters like Arjun,Vaibhav,Trisha,Lakshmi rai,Angeli,Andrea etc.. I think director was in drunk while writing the story which was supposed to be utter foolish.my only relief was the interval time. Had a cold coffee and sacrificed myself for watching this Pathetic movie.. In any case Don't watch this movie in DvDs.

well, coming to the movie.. its heist, chases and twists..Yes,a bit predictable..seen many like them
shades of the infernal affairs trilogy and reservoir dogs.. so nothing novel in the story.. Good editing, BGM n effects.. could've have done without a few songs.. Arjun still has the panache yo.. The romance and betrayal was done with sinister class by Thala.. The chess scene was the highlight for me..Wow, green blood.. Prabhu, the pace was racy, but it lagged a bit here and there with providence helping you through the potholes in the script. Anyway, its Ajith who set the benchmark in the film. No actor in India would have opted for the grey hairs idea.Please do more negative/shaded roles.I see the Ledger-Joker in you bro..Thala, luv ya.. Game over!!

Guys,Movie is awesome. Story s definitely unconventional and needs applauds for trying a bold and new concept. Seeing thala as an antagonist of the movie is commendable. And in future we can see many star would follow the suit. He did better than Vaali. Lots of twist n turns make this more intriguing. On technicalities aspect too Venkat did a terrific job. And wow, to see Ajith uttering cuss words (wat an masala element in the movie). As usual Yuvan rocks in BGM. I loved the chess scene were he plots to kill all his accomplices and the movie pans out it ways is also very commendable. In many scenes I find the nuances of the screenplay of Venkat very very interesting. Venkat Prabhu has matured a lot. On the downside -- At many places I find Screenplay little dragging not typical to Venkat Prabhu's movie, and some songs are adding these worries. Except Vilaiyaadu Mankatha all other songs are average. Action sequence is lil bit overdosed and too much gun noises makes its irritating and made it look like a warfare movieOn a whole this is the perfect 50 for Ajith needed when matters the most. And he chooses the perfect director and script for this milestone. Movie is double awesome. There's a lot of scope to break all box office records, since it got perfect opportunity to release on public holidays back-to-back followed by fri, sat n sun. Mind you thala's always king of box office opening. After this movie Sun pictures can be once again in the groove.my rating 10/10. I will watch once again and again just for thala and Venkat Prabhu
