Captain Barbossa, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann must sail off the edge of the map, navigate treachery and betrayal, find Jack Sparrow, and make their final alliances for one last decisive battle. Not the best of the Pirates films but definitely way better than i remember it, the plot was kinda heavy at times, the perfomances quite well, the jokes at times did fall flat tho. The special effects were outstanding and the final big battle very well executed especially the Jack Sparrow v.s Davy Jones part was pretty amazing although the 169 minute running time wasn't that much needed to be perfectly honest here.. (7.0/10)

Movie Review: "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" (2007)Shooting back-to-back in season 2005/2006 alongside "Dead Man's Chest" for budget over half a billion Dollars gathered and executed by Jerry Bruckheimer Films for Disney Enterprises in a major Hollywood release starring Johnny Depp as pirate captain Jack Sparrow, entrapped in Davy Jones locker under fly high, perfectly orgnized directions by director Gore Verbinski.Keira Knightley, Goeffrey Rush as captain Barbossa and Orlando Bloom must come to terms on the far side of the known world, streaming to ancient Singapore ruler portrayed in splendid make-up effects by HK actor Yun-Fat Chow, when cinematography and production design making waves of timeless high-end visual quality.As only a twelve minute sequence with Johnny Depp as multiplying "Sparrow" can top the showdown with "Maelstrom" sailing, sword-fighting "Sparrow vs. Jones" proportions to back-to-back confronting characters of Elizabeth Swann & Will Turner to maximum conclusions against the East Indian trading company in mounting charge of fully-nemesis-playing Tom Hollander, as director Gore Verbinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer used the production budget wisely. Although I liked the first two movies this was a bit much. They tried to put enough material for two full-length movies into one. The plot wasn't properly explained leaving me clueless as to what was actually happening half the time. Because of this, the movie was filled with action and/or violence that ended up looking just like noise on the screen. Then, to top all this, in the thick of a battle with sword fights Will Turner asks to get married! I usually love this genre but this time I almost didn't finish watching. It puts to shame the first two movies, which I loved (that's why I'm rating this 3 stars). I think that this could have been a great movie but they tried to hard and ended up covering too much ground without developing the plot enough. The ending was also disappointing with Will Turner becoming the new Davy Jones.
The Hateful Citizen
The third episode of the saga "Pirates of the Caribbean" is rather successful. For me, it surpasses the second without however reaching the summits of the first. There is obviously good and less good, let's start with the least good: it must be said, the couple Elizabeth- Will is not very interesting and becomes heavy in the scenario, going so far as to explain in fight, slowing down the pace or getting married in a completely failed scene in my opinion. We also have the advice of the lords who is cool but who comes out of nowhere, in mode "It is necessary to resurrect Jack to go to this board", the scenario is weak and it makes a first part of the film heavy, especially with the moments when Jack is in his head particularly bitchy. The last big fault of this film is its length, 2:40 is too long, really. Let's move on to the positive side, obviously, as in all the Pirates of the Caribbean, a very beautiful film with special effects always magnificent. The big point of this film is especially the final battle which is very successful and that makes this film deserves a 7/10. Better than the second opus.
