ba-amitk5 one of the horrible movies ever saw, I was feeling so bad for myself for wasting my time. director should resign from making such movies and actors should refuse to accept such stories. silvan-desouza After the success of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, many similar kinda films released like Love Ka The End,Sadda Adda.etc The sequel also has a similar story obviously, almost no storyline but yet it's funny. The film has several funny escapades and also dialogues, especially among the boys though yet again the film shows girls in bad light generally. Yet again we have a monologue which is shot in single take and it's fab. The film does get stereotypical at times but yet it's watchableDirection is good Music is okayKarthik Aryan seems more confident in his third outing and he plays the role superbly, Omkar Kapoor makes a confident debut as an adult after being a child artist in films like Masoom The scene stealer is Sunny Nijjar who played master mayur in English Babu Desi Mem as a kid, he is simply hilarious Nusrat is alright as Gogo, she was better in part 1 Sonali as Supriya is also okay, Ishita Sharma is nothing great either Sharat Saxena is as always perfect, rest are all good
sunilsach-14175 one out of ten because..all the three girls are of three different nature. Chiku is from a high-profile family, who is shoptalk, has her own style of living, does not mind even having her 'male best friend' share flat or room. Chiku feels that her boyfriend shall be always available to take her as well as her friends for shopping, beauty parlours. Supriya is from a middle class conservative family, who is afraid to commit in love because of her parents. Kusum is independent-spirited, always conscious of sharing the bills (which is non-negotiable for her), keeps on sharing her concern over Tarun spending his money over his friends. How the three couples' relationships are projected in the movie? What all complications arise? Who takes the control of the relationships? Do the boys find the girls cool even after dating as they appeared to be initially? The film does mention the fatness with which the face-book relationship status and profile photographs are updated. The boys blabbering and complaining about the girls' behaviour and regret of their freedom being curbed generates laughter in parts, but most of time, these are bit annoying and irritating.
Jasrick Johal I can vaguely remember the first Pyaar Ka Punchnama, I only watched it once but I remember it being a good watch. I don't know if I have grown up or matured more since the firsts release (about 5 years ago) but I related to Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 way more, and hence I not only enjoyed more, I loved every moment of the film,it was a complete laugh riot. The film speaks of the plight of men in a relationship, and though the film may only be a one sided affair explaining only the mans side, its a truthful, impactful slice of life film. There are a enough films on feminism, women power etc so a film like PKP2 is fresh, breezy, and did I mention how hilarious it is, you have to see it to believe it. The film is also very relatable (for men), and speaks a lingo thats true, and the Indian youth can connect too, but more on that later.Story wise the film is about three men named Gogo,Thakur, and Chauka. All three have good jobs, and live together in a posh apartment in Dehli. All these three men are missing, are girlfriends, and once they get girls in there lives everything gets turned upside down in there happy lives. What happens in there hilarious relationships is what forms the rest of the story.Acting wise Karthik Aaryan acts brilliantly, his 5 min monologue is a riot, and truthful if you ask me. Omkar Kapoor is very good and has a bright future ahead in bwood.Sunny Singh steals the show with his quirky hilarious dialogues. All three girls Nushrat Bharucha,Sonali Sehgali, and Ishita Sharma are good.PPK2 is one of those rare films where there are so many funny scenes where you actually laugh out loud, you cant pick a fav scene. Its also rare to see a film so funny and so relatable, you will actually relate to the comic agony of the hero's, because we all have felt the tyranny of women. The chemistry between the three man leads is amazing also, they compliment each other brilliantly. The films dialogues are, completely hilarious and the lingo is what Indian teens speak today. The music especially the Paro is first rate also . The film doesn't have many blemishes, but PPK2, seems like rehash of the original almost like a remake, that made sure it didn't make the mistakes of the first, so film loses a bit of novelty. PKP2 is also a film that takes a very male point of view in relationships, so we don't get to see a female point of view at all. The film tends to get a little a serious in the pre climax too. The film is not a direct remake just so you know its a franchise film. But these are very minor blemishes.Overall if you want watch a film that never bores you for even a second, and makes you laugh your lungs out for 2hrs+, go watch PKP2 you will not regret it. Easily Bollywood's funniest film of the year, and its a film every man will find relatable. I can't believe it took me a week to watch it, so don't make the same mistake as me.4/5* or 8/10
