noonoonomore I had read a lot of good reviews about this movie and was looking forward to watching it, since some of the Indian thrillers I've recently watched have been satisfying; such as Talvar, Highway, Pink, No One Killed Jessica etc. etc. But this was not one of them. The story starts so complicated that I was wondering what kinda geniuses would the writers be, to wrap it up in a decent a way, but it didn't end with a good or even a decent twist. The twist connected to all the incidents throughout the movie was so dumb and childish that I could not believe the rating was so high for this movie. I gave it a three only for some good acting. Gosh the part where he exposes the wife of murdering the kid with she repeatedly answers: "huh? huh?" And to believe such a stupid person whose only response to all these allegations is "Huh?", instead of a good alibi or explanation, is behind the master plan of a double murder? I don't even wanna talk about the plot holes and waste more time on this garbage.
sammy Much depends on the director. After all it is he who directs how people act in a movie. Manish Gupta delivers a very ordinary film. The movie needed a tight script, realistic dialogue and method acting. The aforesaid ingredients are however conspicuously absent from the scene. All the actors in the film have been ill-utilised. The acting lets down the entire show. Aiding this downfall is the unimaginative dialogue and plain editing. None of the actors is convincing , and even Kay Kay Menon seems rusty in his performance. In fact right from the opening scenes to the climax, one witnesses a sequence of melodramatic scenes . The movie slowly progresses from a credible who-what-how thriller to a a half cooked and far fetched masala movie. The multiple plots that are intertwined never come across as mutually compatible . The screenplay , like the story, is unrefined and malnourished. The film also has a copious quantity of clichéd elements and tried to hide its stereotypical image under the garb of "realistic-underbelly-vernacular-socio-linguistic" settings. I do not blame the director , it is quite the fad these days. The climax predictably misfits the preceding reels, for we have the writer trying to dramatize a Hercule Poirot tête-à-tête revelation , but what with a mediocre story and weak direction, ends up diluting the movie's credibility even further. All in all, it is not a great movie, but one can watch it once , in lieu of the very many cheesy romantic flicks being released in bulk. However, if I were to pick out a good Hindi language thriller from 2015 , it would have to be "Talwar" (Dir: Meghna Gulzaar) , with a far more effective and realistic depiction of criminality and criminal procedural law.
itachi uchiha first of all, this film isn't worth the hype it is getting. It feels unrealistic at most of the time. A teen girl got murdered and suspicion goes from one person to another. In the climax, when the killer is indeed shown, you can get the feeling that, "yes, i have knew it all along because the killer was shown in a very innocent manner till that moment." It just raises your eyebrows when everyone is getting suspected yet, that person is going unnoticed ALL THE TIME. Lots of plot holes yet, considering it is from bollywood, i am forgiving in that part. The climax is way too much "filmy" than a practical one. it isn't a 7+ movie. it is more of a 5.0 to 6.0 one. If you want to watch a good thriller, i'll recommend "Ugly" it is 8.3 as of now (jusrtified rating). To decrease the inflation, i'll give this film a 2 star (more so for cinematography) so that its rating goes a little bit lower to reflect the correct measure. Not a disappointing movie. an okish one.
ANUNAY SHARMA Rahasya is a murder mystery loosely inspired by Arushi murder case. The movie is about the murder of a teenager girl and the attempt of a CBI officer to unmask the killer.Their are many positive points about the movie and writing is one of them which is engrossing. Its screenplay is very absorbing.Right from the beginning you begin to guess about the killer among them. The flow is very fluent and the movie is a straight forward one.Their are no unnecessary sub-plots or scenes which regulates the flow of film. The main quality of the film is that it keeps you guessing till the very end.The apex of the movie is superb.1st half is good and intensifies the mystery. The way the suspense builds up is really amazing.2nd half is good although is a bit overstretched.K.K menon is a very good actor and plays the role brilliantly. He is awesome in the role of a CBI officer and as a husband who cares for his family and can't compromise with his moral ethics. He doesn't takes bribe even when his wife forces her to do so by referring their weak economical condition. His dialog delivery is so simple and riveting. His expressions are brilliant. He is simply a powerhouse of talent.Tisca chopra is good although in some scenes she becomes uneasy.Ashish vidhyarthi was awesome. Its good and soothing experience to see him in such a brilliant role.Rest of the star- cast is also good.Manish Gupta, with his direction shows how excellent storyteller he is?The ways he proceeds the story while not loosing his grip is truly worth applause. Dialogs of the movie are good and matches consummately with the tone of the movie.Cinematography is good and captures the true Mumbai where the poor and rich peoples live together. The locations of the movie is good and magnifies the tense atmosphere of the movie positively. The length of the movie is short although could have been little more shorter. If you are a lover of a mystery thriller then you must go for it.It is very rare in bollywood to make such a climatic and vivid thriller which makes you guessing till the end.It is a gripping and riveting film which keeps you hooked.A nice and realistic cinematic experience. I would lovingly rate it 7.4 out of 10.
