Film Watchin Fool
Watch this if...you to see a goofy comedy revolving around two guys cracking safes that know nothing about cracking safes. A fairly silly premise, but makes for an entertaining film.Acting/Casting: 7* - Sam Rockwell and Steve Zahn are great in the lead roles and have great chemistry together. The supporting cast is very strong as well and the group provides plenty of comedy.Directing/Cinematography/Technical: 6* - From start to finish, the movie has a nice, entertaining pace that makes for a easy watch. Nothing extraordinary here and nothing really bad to say about the film.Plot/Characters: 5* - Again, the plot is blatantly goofy and does a good job being just that. It is more comedy than heist, but has a nice blend of both.Entertainment Value: 6* - It is a fun watch and has a really nice pace to it. I would recommend to anyone who wants to see a lighthearted heist film.My Score: 7+6+5+6 = 24/4 = 6.0 Email your thoughts to filmwatchinfool@gmail.com

I'll start off with this. I don't usually talk about movies at work. Mainly because people tend to have different tastes than me. But I found myself telling people about this movie after I watched it.I caught this one on Netflix the other night. I really enjoyed it. I like Sam Rockwell as an actor, I don't know if I can relate to him, or if he just brings that old style of comedy back to the screen. The story of the script is OK and I would have like to see a little more back story, but all in all, it held its own. Or maybe just some more "buddy" type interaction. Sam and Steve have that kind of chemistry, and could pull of quite a bit that most wouldn't be able to get away with.I would put this in the same section as Support Your Local Sheriff or Spies like Us. I know they aren't the same genre but I really think that The two main leads in this movie have that same kind of bond, like in those films.

What's more funny than a couple of lounge singers, Jewish gangsters fromProvidence and unrequited love. The cast is amazing. Sam rockwell is a genius. Wheter he's in drama (Heist) or comedy(Welcome to Collinwood) he's seems toenjoy his work and when the actor is having fun the audience will follow suit. Mark Ruffalo, Steve Zahn(totally underrated), Paul Giamatti and the oldschoolers, Michael Lerner and Harvey Fierstein make this one of the best cast films in recent memory. Christina Kirk is sexy and funny and tough. The guy who plays the MC at the Bar Mitzbah is awesome. I laughed my ass off frombeginning to end.

If you like low-key humor and a writer/director and actors totally getting what they're doing, you'll love this movie. My only complaint is that it could have been longer and explored some more aspects of the main characters, but other that that, this is a gem.
