First, to say,I wanted to give it a 10 star, but I am that kind of person who want an ending as the way I want it to be.So here I go,The story started with some castle stuff, so I thought "wohhh, same old snow white or Cinderella or whatever story may be the base of it", but thank God, this movie didn't waste my two hour! :vAnd those who said this series as a same old teen drama,"Guys!seriously?"(However, it doesn't mean that you hated something so I can't love it, right?)

I know it was hard to witness parent causing adultery in that age!Though you never knew what was going one.But I would like to take your father as the evil one.How dare was he to say something like that to his own daughter!(Let's not use any slang,okey?)....And your mother, Her tears didn't affect me at all, she deserved it, never mind!Here your world of silence was depicted as a dark world where you have unlimited words which were actually like knives! Trust me! I am like you in this sense! Whenever I open my mouth, here comes trouble! Well, I chose to be silent cause it was who I am!Lastly, to say, I got a huge crush on Takumi.I thought he would be a real guy for you!But the end of the day, he rejected you!So, he is out my list now! However, I can't blame him for this, as emotions are weird stuffs! One sided love are always hurtful, I wonder.Words are sometimes painful but keeping them inside are more hurtful.I know that.Yours,

Why the title the is bad parents? I think fact is the foundation, the starting point of the whole story. I never saw before a movie such a bad parents, like this one. The father blame his daughter about divorce. The mother be ashamed, because Jun can not speak."The neighbors talk about us".- she said during the story. Have a mother on earth who can do this his own child??? I doubt it, but... I open the question. I can not decided the parents really blame Jun about divorce or is just simply the fact when a child blame herself by the reason of the parents mistakes. The anime is a love story, but the anime built about this episode. Actually, I found the story boring, the movie is very slow. The sketches, the scenery are beautiful. The idea is also good, but the developing is slow and I could not get a rewarding answer in the end. Everybody find his right one, but what is the point? The characters are evolve, everybody taught something the end of the movie. That is a good point. I think this anime ideal for teens and the adults whose love this kind of love stories. Is it ideal for kids? Maybe? So if you like slow, fantasy, teens love stories, you probably like this one too.

I found the film very moving and very beautiful.The film beautifully displays the hardships of an adolescence in a broken family. The pain and blame that comes with divorce can be devastating. Throughout the movie the main character learns to cope with her trauma and grow as a person. It was very sweet and very creative. The animation is beautiful and the movie overall has a fairy tale-like quality although the story is a slice of life anime genre. The power of words and song ring through the movie.I enjoyed it very much.(Although I wrote that this review contains spoilers I tried to keep them to the absolute minimum so that it doesn't give anything away).

The first mistake we all make is to expect it to match with the type of films what Isao Takahata, Hayao Miyazaki, Mamoru Hosada and few others direct. I meant thematically; either sci-fi, fantasy or the drama with the teen or the tween characters in the lead. Because technically this was a wonderful animation, but I was not impressed with the story, otherwise as usual, my writing would have been very long with the film quotes and other discussions.For the beautifully sketched characters like this, the film totally wasted an opportunity. Should have been a beautiful love story or a pure fantasy, but it was a bit of uninspiring school drama that I kind frequently lost interest while watching.I remind who wanted to watch it that it was a simple story which was like some kind of a television episode. The fantasy parts were too small to notice and the love story was very boring to emotionally feel it. It might suit for those who're seeking matured contents in an anime fantasy-romance than a cute and quirky narration. My point is it is for adults than children.Overall, it failed to reach my expectations, but the online film rating says many has liked it. So don't mind me if you're considering it, but my review causing confusion. Because you should not have to feel what I felt, everything I said in the review is from my personal viewpoint. So I believe your opinion might differ from mine.5/10
