This could have been so much better! Have a man play Frank at the beginning, and Michelle Rodriguez is the perfect casting for later. But at the beginning, it just looks like her with a beard on. Fail. Sigourney Weaver perfectly cast as evil doctor. But way too many lines, most of them poorly written. Fail. The rest of it all? Meh. It's a clever idea, and a nice, cruel reveal at the end, but overall with the points I've made above, this movie is a fail.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching, "The Assignment". I love the actresses, story line, and intrigue over what happened next. I have no idea why these reviewers gave it such a low score, but imagine these people are why we have Trump as a president.

Actually, it was a much better film than what I've heard of it. What could you expect from a B movie? This was a much better film for its small budget with a decent cast. The storyline seems okay, but Michelle Rodriguez is the one who made it possible. Yeah, it was like created for her to play the main role and she excelled. The filmmaking was quite compromised when the initial part of her character was played by herself. Because of particularly her height, but decently convinces us with all the rest of the makeovers. The film was about an assassin, who after encountering some wrong men, discovers later that he'd went through gender reassignment surgery. Now raged with anger, he begins his hunt whoever behind it, especially finding the reason for. With a small romance and action sequences, the film comes to an end. Before giving it a try, you must understand that it is not the film you should expect to be a masterpiece. It tried its best to narrate a decent story, as well as you get your entertainment along. So it is not a must see, but still worth a watch.6/10

This isn't an awful movie and it does have some good moments, but I struggle to think that it really works. Firstly the story itself is pretty improbable although the idea of a mad surgeon wanted to experiment is not new it is still a bizarre thing to want to do, especially to worry about the quality of her work when changing the guys sex to female. Michelle Rodriguez does a pretty good acting job but never really convinces that she is ever male. From the outset it looked like a girl with a beard, apart from the shower scene where they must have used either CGI or good prosthetic. She also didn't really convince as an assassin and made some pretty silly errors of judgement but I guess that is down to the script rather than acting. So over all I have mixed feelings. It isn't a bad movie just not a great one.
