Reviews

Hitchcoc This movie is so directionless and so lacking in anything positive, I can't really describe it. It's as if a couple guys sat down and came up with the silly title and then tried to create a movie around it. That's not an entirely bad way of coming up with a B movie, but this one is a true stinker from beginning to end. From the horrible acting, the stupid scenes of violence, the costuming, the dreadful plot. It's all here (or it isn't) I couldn't believe that as I post this, there have been 112 reviews. Think of the cures for diseases and scientific discoveries that could have taken place in the time wasted by all those people, including myself.
Lee Eisenberg Can you figure out the plot of "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?", cause I couldn't really figure it out. Of course, I paid more attention to the snarky comments from Mike, Servo and Crow when Pearl forced them to watch it on "Mystery Science Theater 3000". Joan Collins, Noam Chomsky and Glenn Close are among the people who get mentioned. As for the plot of the movie itself, as far as I could tell, it was about a gypsy (or is Roma the PC term?) woman who turns a loser into a zombie. The only character who really had my eye was Angela; she really was a hottie. In the end, the movie itself doesn't amount to anything, but the MST3K version is a riot. How cruel of Pearl to make Mike and the 'bots watch it.
phoenixwest I could hang out at the train tracks kicking around dirty, used needles on my way to a coal mine for my Zumba session and still not feel as dirty as I did watching this movie. If you love greasy haired foreigners...this is your movie. I understand that it was made with almost no money but am I supposed to believe that they couldn't find a homeless drifter that could speak better English than the foreign friend that's clearly missed a few dozen ESL classes. This movie was made in the era of cinema where their solution for everything was to rub grease on it. Their faces are greasy. Their hair is greasy. Even the walls managed to be greasy. It was as if they filmed all the scenes in a petroleum jelly warehouse shortly after one of the vats exploded. Basically, if you're into films that make you think about life: why would you watch this after reading the title? If you're into movies that make you hate living: watch this movie (it will be your last choice on earth). It's not scary at all but it's 100% nightmare fuel. I don't get scared by movies (not bragging) but I DO get creeped out by them from time to time. Something about how 'off' everything is just makes you feel molested by the visuals. It's a cavalcade of strange characters and insanity.
bravesfan35 Like so many awful films, I could never bring myself to watch this without the Mystery Science Theater crew adding their many hilarious lines to the film. I don't understand how some people gave this film anything more than a 3-star rating. The movie is complete nonsense. It focuses more on cheesy dancing and singing than it does on zombies. You don't even see any zombies until near the very end of the movie and that's only briefly cause they all get shot within 3 or 4 minutes except for one of the stars of the film who leads 1 police officer on a long and boring chase along a beach before the cop finally shoots him. If you have any interest in seeing this film, please do it with MST3K.
