BeltaneEve This is an incredibly well-made documentary that, if true, should be an explosive expose of the cover-ups involved in whether or not aliens have and still are visiting our planet. Over the years I have watched and read many things about this subject and a great deal of them have been obvious half-baked, crackpot stories that are easy to dismiss. The way in which this is presented, though, makes it less easy to dismiss at first glance; however, as other reviewers have pointed out, some digging shows that this may simply be a very highly polished turd that could be immensely successful on a propaganda level. You are bombarded with so much info so fast and for so long that is becomes almost impossible to watch with a critical eye and digest what you are being told. There are various minor mistakes in the film, most of which are really not important but it damages the potential credibility of the overall theme when viewed separately. One example is when they are talking about Dorothy Kilgallen and instead of showing her, they show a shot of Arlene Francis on 'What's My Line?' which Kilagallen was also on. While I have no doubts that there are many facts in this film, I urge everyone to watch it with a critical eye and be aware that every documentary has an agenda.
Ervin Zarka I did just 1 star rating coz i couldn't make it minus 10 stars. I was curious to see if this director has new facts about the hottest subject in the world. I am so dissapointed! After 1 hour watching this Steven talking and talking and talking and also crying an dbeing dramatic for no reason, i couldnt continue further. It was too much that this kind of visual production to go through my mind. It looked like he wanted to show off that he knew facts and he could talk and that he could be interesting but he didn't let the documentary to tell itself. He just collected some pieces of videos from the past, he got some half interviews from some "high personality" people and then h ejoined them. He didnt even edited well. I must say it is the most amateur video editing i ever seen. It is over all, the most useless "documentary" in the world. In 2017 this kind of video production is a shame!
cat-imdb Among so many weak and untrustworthy documentaries that one sees in the market about this fascinating subject, "Unacknowledged" brings up an atmosphere of seriousness that really impresses. I confess that I do not have concrete elements to judge whether this impression is real or just a well-done theatrical performance. However, as the film is classified as a documentary, I am led to believe that it is a work of non-fiction. Apart from this, the number of testimonies of old men with credible credentials adds weight to the information provided. And let's face it, nothing more assertive than a bunch of experienced old fellows, wrinkled faces, and who probably has nothing else to lose in life, telling things they've been forced to hide for decades out of fear of reprisal. The film is very good, not only for what it reveals, but also for the amount of topics it covers, allowing the viewer to open new doors for reading and research based on the key words and concepts presented in the documentary. For those who like the UFO theme, like me, it is a modern, informative film that sheds light on the likely unfolding of the revelation of the existence of non-hostile extraterrestrial intelligences that have been observing, monitoring and secretly interacting with humanity.
