eltacoman1978 I remember them hyping the Hogan/Andre match BIG TIME prior to this show, only to see them fight to a lame no contest. If that wasn't bad enough, they botched the chance to have Savage/Steamboat in the second round (though semi-final's would have been more fitting),instead we were witness to Savage/Valentine and Savage/OMG. Even though Savage was obviously winning the tournament, the focus was still ALL about Hogan, which angered me then as it does now, being Macho was one of my all time favorites. If your a Macho fan, this is worth a watch,as he could really go back then. If your not,you probably wouldn't get as much out of it.
ksizzle836 this fourth installment of wrestlemania was one of my favorites. it is certainly better than any of the recent ones. of course i am not a big fan of wrestling these days. too many stupid story lines and it just seems to be way too outrageous. back in these days you just had your interviews and then it was straight to the ring. the matches might not have been as fast paced, but at least most of the time it ended with a real winner. i stopped watching raw years ago when the main event always ended in outside interference. it just got old watching the same show every single week. anyway #4 had some good matches, especially if your macho man fan. he is my favorite of all time. macho/valentine was a good match. so was macho/ dibiase. the battle royal was pretty good and marked bret hart's turn from bad guy to good guy. it was also the first time of three that demolition got their hands on the tag titles.(why ,oh why, did they ever have to bring in crush)? i always thought ax and smash were pretty cool. anyway if your interested in watching wrestling when it was good this is worth a look. if your more interested in the garbage thats on t.v. today then you will probably find it boring. by the way miss elizabeth dressed like a real woman should dress and she was 10x hotter than any of the sluts on today.
wrestlingsitewebmaster I quite enjoyed Wrestlemania IV. It was a change from all the singles matches that bothered us all at WM I, II and III. Once again Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse 'the body' Ventura were fantastic on the commentary booth. This WM featured too many matches to write about, but they were all watchable. Ted DiBiase's matches were all outstanding (yes even the one with Jim Duggan) and Ricky Steamboat vs Greg Valentine was fantastic. The main event was 'Macho Man' Randy Savage vs 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase and it was good. Things picked up when Hulk Hogan came to the aid of Savage resulting in Savage picking up the WWE Undisputed Championship.Overall Grade - B
