cB391 Being previously entertained by the work of Patton Oswalt and enjoying other actos on the show from different podcasts, I decided to give this a chance. I saw a full season that I could binge. Sadly, I have stopped watching after the first episode. I understand the current state of being *politically incorrect* as a humorous aspect of comedy, but I don't think that any part of the first episode was entertaining. If you continued to watch the rest of the season, I hope it gets/got better. I will skip it and try to find another way to spend a few hours tonight. I have kept this vague as others may want to check out the episode for themselves without any spoilers. I would recommend against that.

LiquidPoetry1921 Having read some of the IMDB reviews, I thought 'A.P. Bio' was going to be hilarious. Not only is it not funny, it's awful. Not only is the entire half-hour show not humorous, there isn't even the occasional comedic one-liner. Since Patton Oswalt is such a brilliant comedy actor, I thought his being on this show would be validation of its quality. I was wrong.Gave the show a VERY generous 2* out of 10 ~ basically because I feel bad Oswalt now has this on his resume.Simply awful.

shaylalyman I just don't understand the negative reviews people are writing about this show. I create a account just so I could write a review. This show is AMAZING! I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The humor is outstanding, the acting is fantastic and the storyline keeps getting better and better. EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH THIS SHOW!

wildsparrow16 I am surprised reviews were not higher for this show. It is not your typical schoolyard comedy. Howerton plays an arrogant, neurotic Harvard grad thrust into small town life trying to adjust. While he comes across as crass and jaded, it is clear after the first episode that he does care about the kids and is far more observant to their issues than we would expect. He is also grieving his "dead mom", yet has not come to terms with it yet. He lives in her house, wears her robe and drinks coffee in her shower chair. He is still wanting his ex-gf back and that is not going well. He fails at dating, among many things and we actually begin to feel sympathy for him. The principal is a lovable mild-mannered man, and the lunchroom ladies are a hoot. There is some sexual humor and inuendo, so it is an adult comedy. I like it better than Teachers, there is something sweet about it and the characters are more likeable.
