rlperidot I am glad they canceled this show as in many of the episodes that i watched there were wrong actions taken on the troopers side, for example on multiple times i watched as a trooper yells at a person in a car to put there hand up and then tell's them to get out of the car and then take's the person down on the ground because they could not see there hands and say they were not listening to instruction's,now being on the wright side of the law myself i know for a fact a person can not keep both hands in the air and open a door as this is impossible to do.The correct procedure to do is to tell the person to put both hands out the window and slowly with one hand open the door from the outside door handle not tackle the person because you lost sight of one of there hands when you instructed them to get out of the car,i think these officers need to be trained a little more on situation's like this and this is just one mistake causing brutality on the laws side,i do know that at least 95% of the people they have pulled over in the show are convicted felons or have a warrant but they also have right's and to tell them to do something and then shove there face in the dirt claiming they disobeyed a police officer is plain wrong and 100% lack of correct training, they need to handle them selves more professional'y so more people don't start disliking the law,as they are meant to be setting an example for others and this is just one example that i have seen that is not carried out correctly.
Joel Reitzloff The producers dish out the same trendy anti-climactic terrible music and narration as the other trendy (and terrible) shows. Constant "scary" sounding drums when you can easily predict every little thing that will happen, of course they play a scene where a trooper screams... then loops it again.. and then goes to commercials.. then comes back and plays the exact loop a 3rd time, and then what happens? NOTHING> this happens about 3 times each and every episode. not to mention the comments they make are so retarded. they should have taken notes from cops and exactly how they set up the show if they wanted this to be 100% what it could have been. instead it follows the same predictable pathetic guidelines as TV shows like "UFO Hunters" who make out like before every commercial break they will be attacked by aliens and make world news.. only you know they wont, because there was no world news and i hardly think it'd break on a show like that, and of course only after you wait for commercials. Long live the troopers. Only saving grace to this show. You should get rid of the show the producers are making you look like a typical media side show.
Garrett Moriarty Alaska State Troopers takes you on an informative and entertaining journey through the everyday lives of the Alaska State Troopers. The troopers work as a jack of all trade unit, often balancing between highway patrol and metro city divisions, to far off and extreme rural and remote regions of the state. Additionally, the ASTs also enforce hunting and fishing laws. This show gives a great glance into another way of life and gives a rare look into one of the most unique law enforcement agencies in the United States. This show is appropriate for almost everyone but keep in mind there maybe some topics that people find disturbing or qualmful, including drug use, car accidents, violent crime, and the inspection of deceased animals.
