oldhouselover Simply put Blood Ties is the best show ever of it's genre ever produced...great writing, superior acting, hot chemistry, this one has it all.If you love vampires, the supernatural, romance, comedic situations, originality and quality content you can not help but be pulled in.Vicki,Henry,Mike a love triangle for the here and now.If you are looking for cheese then you will be out of luck with this one for there is none to be found here. This is a show worthy of many entertaining seasons and a prime example of what can result when all the main elements of a show are addressed in their entirety.Lifetime hit one out of the proverbial park when they chose to air BLood Ties and they need to come to that reality.
starcat-3 After watching all of the episodes finding that there were no more was like having the rug pulled out from under me. Why are there no more? Blood ties has got to be one of the best, most interesting series that has been made in a long time - they can't not make anymore!! The characters seam more real than most, the plot lines are actually interesting!! And as for the Vampire, the term more please comes to mind!!! With emphasis! Yes definitely MORE.The worst thing is that Not being able to get a TV signal (the parents wont get a sky box - not fair) I end up having to wait until it comes out on DVD, the wait is way too long and to leave it where it finished is like a caffeine addict with a broken kettle. If anyone has been in that situation you know what i mean - it is not nice.
siege223 I love Blood Ties. I go over to Lifetime.com to watch the 22 episodes almost daily. What I like about the show is that it's fun, quirky, sexy, a little campy, dramatic, and did I mention sexy? I have a crush on all three of the main characters/actors--Vicki, Henry, and Mike. I love the racially-diverse cast. I love the witty dialog. I love how given a low production budget, they were still able to make the show more of a fantasy based show with pretty good special effects. Potential-wise, this show's first 22 episodes are very similar to the first 2 seasons of Buffy, and I would love to see in what direction the show evolves.
mysticnox The chemistry between the actors is amazing. This show has a good chance of becoming a cult hit.And Henry... well Henry is everything a modern vampire should be. Charming, overconfident, powerful, incredibly seductive and sexy, educated, and very dangerous. He is Lord Byron, Percy Bysche Shelley, Don Juan, and Jim Morrison. He can bite me any time. Men need to watch this show to see exactly how they should be doing it. The seduction I mean. He's just incredibly sizzling hot. I imagine the actor thats playing him has learned a lot about how to truly seduce a women just from this little bit working on the show.Wow, just wow. I REALLY hope this show continues. I find myself waiting with baited breath until next week when they show the new episodes. Before this, Supernatural was my favorite show but I haven't felt the "can't wait until next week" thing with any show since Charmed.Excellent. Just excellent. Please please don't cancel this show Lifetime.
