Britney and Kevin: Chaotic is an American reality television series created by Anthony E. Zuiker. Starring American recording artist Britney Spears and her then-husband Kevin Federline, the five-episode series aired on UPN from May 17 to June 14, 2005. The series chronicles the couple's relationship from their courtship, engagement and wedding. A majority of the footage was originally shot for Spears' own reality series to document the European leg of The Onyx Hotel Tour in the spring of 2004. Spears fell and injured her left knee during the shooting of the music video for "Outrageous", causing the remainder of the tour and the series to be cancelled. Britney and Kevin: Chaotic was heavily criticized by critics, who deemed the series to be career suicide for Spears. Critics noted Spears' excessive narcissism and criticized the themes of the series as being too explicit. The DVD release of Britney and Kevin: Chaotic included Spears' first extended play of the same name.

Reviews

MariMcCabe It has been mentioned several times in other reviews that Britney Spears appears to be full of herself in Chaotic, when that couldn't be more the opposite.Spears tends to be very self depreciating herself, she definitely does NOT take herself seriously at all, unlike many other celebrities out there. She has a funny personality and isn't vain at all. Its funny how people mention that she doesn't take care of herself due to her dressed down clothing and messy up hair, but yet say she's arrogant. Which one is it? Lastly, and most importantly, reviewers are taking this show far too seriously. Its just home videos obviously aired just for fun. Its not a serious documentary. Relax.
teniente91 i'm ask... what a f*** are whit the real-TV never i see some b******* in my life is: a******, dirty, f****** bad and other a******* things but anything more is just a piece of American s*** all time Britney saying ''oh s***, i wanna see his cock, i wanna f***, and stuck his d***'' and he thinking ''oh like i gone to still her money'' it's just another show of s*** any one more the only good are what Britney sell in interior clothes but noting special noting it's just like i say another s*** show in this s*** sill out the money pure sex all f******* time, i just see for i sleep on the before show for this i wanna my f****** money
kooliana I don't even know why I'm spending my time writing a comment about Britney Spears, perhaps to get my thoughts off my mind so that I don't have nightmares about her tonight? Anyway, a good friend of mine (who is a DJ) has met Britney Spears before, and he has described her to me as "always needs to be in the center of attention". I now understand what he meant. After seeing the first episode of Chaotic (why, you ask? Because of stupid human curiosity), I am now feeling extreme motion-sickness thanks to Britney's not-very-stable camcorder holding hand, and newfound pity for her.Sure, she's rich, she's famous, won't say she's beautiful cuz I've never found her to be, but wow, she's oozing with inner loneliness. I mean, who in their right mind would want the entire world to know how many times she's had sex during that day? When she kept on going on and on about sex positions, and how many times she "did it" with Kevin, I actually covered my face with embarrassment for her. The girl is just screaming for something more substantial and she doesn't even realize it. I think that's why she acts like she's always on stage and she's so hyper it's annoying. Can anyone say: Facade?? Poor Britney, so many people looking at her but no one's really listening to her. The one thing I will give her is that you can tell that she is comfortable with her body and she can definitely make fun of herself. That's cool, cuz people in this world take themselves too seriously sometimes.Don't really have much of an opinion about Kevin, although he seems like he's stoned all the time. Anyway, that's my little blurb on the wonderful world of Britney Spears. May she find peace with herself someday. If not, at least give her money to charity or something...Thanks y'all for readin' my post!! (sorry, my inner Britney came out there...)PS: Still feeling a bit motion-sick...
Bocna This show is awful, after reading some really funny and scathing reviews for it in Entertainment Weekly I just had to see it for myself and am left dumbfounded. Whether you like Britney or not, what is the demand to see how she fell in love with her husband? There is none. Its kind of strange and ironic how she says she's just a "normal" girl yet what normal girl has her own show simply documenting her love life? Short answer: not many. The fact is she's not normal. She's hugely famous and incredibly rich. Add to that her lack of intellect, obsession with sex, and severe egotism and you've got a very extraordinary and morally lax girl.It seems to me the only people who could possibly enjoy this show are extreme Britney fans and Britney haters who would like nothing more than to see her make a fool of herself which she does plenty of in Chaotic. Then, there's people like me who are just curious. Some reality shows can be good b/c since the people are "real" you can feel for them and want them to do well and be happy. But, there is nothing of value in this show. Its just some kind of misguided propaganda or maybe just maybe Britney is dumb enough to think the American people actually care about her private life. Whatever happened to the good old days when celebs fought valiantly to keep their weddings, pregnancies, babies, etc. out of the the public eye? I don't know much about Britney the star or Britney the girl but I do know one thing, I don't care.
