Reviews

richard.fuller1 The year of the space shuttle blowing up, reaching my own adulthood, trying to sort out the problems of my life and what should be NEW on TV but . . . . . . "Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak"? Did I really need a juvenile titled gameshow like this in my life? Nevertheless, unemployed, I watched. The game consisted of two teams, men vs. women, five on each side. They were put in headphones and all turned away from the first member of each team. Now the first person was told to describe something and couldn't mention it to the second person. When the second person got the correct guess, then he or she would describe it to the third person, but they couldn't mention any of the main words the first person had used! Now how on earth the fourth person is going to know what the first or second person said is beyond me! Pretty impossible, really. One I have never forgotten was a woman who had to get the next lady to say 'giggle' and the first woman began by saying 'not a wiggle when you walk, but a'.At the time, I didn't know what the Big Bopper's song was and apparently neither did this young lady as this "clue" completely threw her away from 'giggle'.Short-lived, and deservedly so.Forsyth used to end the show by saying 'if your feeling hot and you want to streak.' It was absolutely creepy to hear him say that.
