The series is set in a universe inhabited solely by anthropomorphic animals of many species and focuses on a trio of campers attending a poorly run summer camp known as Camp Kidney. The trio consists of Lazlo, the eccentric, optimistic spider monkey; Raj, the timid Indian elephant; and Clam, the quiet albino pygmy rhinoceros, and their multiple surreal misadventures.

Joe Nadeau The show is similar to Spongebob, where I found every episode entertaining and nonlinear. It's a great kick-back show to enjoy. Highly recommend.

GravityLoudHouseLover1 Hey Guys GravityFalls2 here and today I'm going review Camp Lazlo which was a great show and was Created by Joe Murray who made Nickelodeon's Rocko's Modern Life. The show was about Spider monkey named Lazlo who goes to Camp Kidney with his friends Clam & Raj. My favorite Character is probably Scout Master Lumpus who is a little bit like Squidward. Some people say this show is a rip-off of SpongeBob SquarePants but in My opinion its like SpongeBob. The Show ran on Cartoon Network From July 8,2005 - March 27,2008 with 5 Seasons and 61 Episodes. I did'not like this show until Late December 2006 when I Started Liking Cartoon Network again. My Favorite episode is "Meat Man" which was creepy. Anyway really liked Camp Lazlo and I'm giving it 10 out 10 stars. See guys later. BYE. Updated as of December 19th,2016

TheLittleSongbird This mayn't be my favourite cartoon or show ever, but it is an outstanding show. Is it quite as good as Rocko's Modern Life? No, but that doesn't stop it from being enjoyable.The animation has a unique style to it, and works really well, and the music is great too. And I loved the clever and funny writing, and the engaging and original stories. Also I found the characters really endearing and funny, Lazlo is certainly very likable, and so are Raj and Clam. My favourite character though is probably Slinkman. On top of that, the voice work is excellent.In conclusion, this show is outstanding. 10/10 Bethany Cox

backflipboy It seems that cartoons aren't treating kids like idiots anymore.It was by chance one Saturday afternoon while channel surfing that I came across Camp Lazlo and the first thing that struck me was the resemblance of the animation to Rocko's Modern Life - and why not? It's made by the same person who created that show.Young kids would be taken in by the speed at which things happen in each episode - there is no time to stop and think about what is going on nor is there any need to. Pure entertainment with no lesson to be learned at the end of the show.It's all typical little boy behavior and insanity at Camp Kidney on the shores of Leaky Lake, with the only creature approaching any form of sanity being a slug named Slinkman - at least I think he's slug. He does have legs after all.Where there's trouble, Lazlo the Brazillian Spider Monkey will be found smack bang in the middle of it with his two best friends, Raj the Indian Elephant and Clam the Pygmy Albino Rhino doing their best to keep up with him, leaving the rest of the gang of Bean Scouts to just go in whatever direction Lazlo and company pull them.Watching over it all with a deep desire to escape is Scoutmaster Lupus (or Lumpus as everyone else calls him). This is one Scoutmaster you wouldn't want looking after your kids for any length of time.Highly recommended for anyone who feels like an escape from the rat race and a few good laughs.
