Reviews

Jonathan Cressman This was an incredibly intelligent show. Unfortunately you have to watch all 15 hours of it in order. You can't join in on the second episode because it just wouldn't make sense. Today Netflix could create such a show but back in 2006 there was no way to make this show commercially viable. Great story, great character development and great consistency. Also while the time loop is central to the story, this is very much a detective show. There is a puzzle and other than the time loop there are no special "star trek" moments where the writers just make up some new science to wrap an episode up in the last 5 minutes. Watch the show and be prepared to have to pay close attention.
farilady-1 I truly enjoyed this show... I just watch what I just found out to be the last show and I am very disappointed. It was one of the highlights of my week, getting to watch Day Break... I loved the show and am sorry to see its over.Especially since there are still so many unanswered questions about what was going on.. What about the ex-husband, the crazy guy and the attorney.. There is still so many ways to keep this show going. Why is it they always pull the good shows and leave the rest of the junk on? It would be awesome to see another season come on this year.... I know I would be watching every week.
Gorzul Such a fantastic idea, mind blowing plot, original, fresh, well acted by great actors, so gripping you won't be able to stop. And when it ends it'll have you begging for more. The only show that's anywhere close to this one is Lost. I am abhorred by the fact that they decided to cancel it. How? Why? So many shows out there can't even hold a candle to this one, yet they are still airing.. This is seriously strange.. I guess in the end, it's the audience that is responsible.. And it really gets me thinking what kind of people are out there.. As soon as something is a little out of the seen-it-already comfort zone people freak out? Well.. anyway, to all smart people in the world, let's hope it'll be on DVD and if it is don't you miss it! Go to ABC.com and support the show if you like it, we want it back!
moneysmith-1 "Day Break" was such an original, inventive show, I'm really sorry it won't be on any longer. The premise was great, and the acting, writing and directing were all terrific, much more interesting in most prime time TV. What is ABC thinking? They air some of the lamest programming around, but when a quality show comes along, they dump it because only 4.4 million people were watching? Nice. How many people watched "24" during its first season? As far as I can tell, you can't even see the "Day Break" episodes online any longer. ABC has removed the show from the website, as though it never even existed. And network executives wonder why they're losing viewers.
