Reviews

Kirpianuscus after almost two decades, its flavor remains fresh. the adventures - seductive, the humor - charming. and the West - like a big fairy tale book. because it represents, yet, ideal family series. using classic recipes and classic recipes, few cultural references and the science to give the large picture of a life style and the way to integrate a stranger, woman and doctor. the love, the values, the dramas, the conflicts, the joys, the family spirit, the grow up of children, the generosity and solidarity are the spices who creates a special status for this series in the heart of the public. and it is a good thing. because it represents a bridge from the spirit of "80țs series to the last decade of century. in the right style.
Skekz Spoilers****** I have a love/hate relationship with this show. I stuck with it to watch the romance between Sully and Dr. Quinn, if not for that I would have given it up. The towns people are TERRIBLE! They never miss an opportunity to turn on each other, lie, cheat or generally do the wrong thing. The premise that the Calvary were just a bunch of villainous oafs that were always in the wrong got on my nerves early on as well. If this show were to be believed, high and mighty Bostonians were the only decent people to be found back then and everyone else were just a bunch of backwoods racists. I liked Sully's character though. He always said what he thought and didn't want to pretend to be anything he wasn't. Dr. Quinn seemed to like stirring trouble, but usually for a good cause. Overall I think its a bit of the ridiculous but.....I did watch every episode so....there you go.
sapoguaton So bad to see the lower level in the actual users of IMDb...the general opinion about this series make clear the level of people coming to IMDb, and that is a real shame when we think in the old IMDb and the clever people writing in there...I suppose we cant expect quality in amazon when they just take count of noses, but its sadly to lost a excellent place to talk seriously about movies and TV, which was the old IMDb... I m not saying the ignorant people not have the right to make opinions, but when the everyone have the feeling that can make statements without any concern about the own capacity to talk about anything, the thing become a loud noise very empty of intelligence, so who really want to share opinions , serious opinions, about a movie hardly can find that in IMDb...Im feeling betrayed...I lost a old wise friend and a stupid kid without brain is using his name just because have the money to buy it, so I have reasons to feel me betrayed...right?
edwagreen Outstanding television show where young Dr. Quinn gets her medical degree and gives up a life of luxury in New England and ventures forth to the wild west. The scenery and the stories were absolutely captivating. As the wonderful doctor, Jane Seymour etched an unforgettable character. Soon taking on a family when their mother is killed in an Indian attack, Dr. Quinn shows that she is a lovable person as well as a humanitarian. As Sully, the Indian guide, Joe Lando was terrific in this part. At first brooding because of the death of Abigail, his wife, he learns to love the good doctor and they soon wed as he takes on the responsibility of a family. With a terrific supporting cast led by Orson Bean and others, the show had different weekly stories. One was better than the other.A show depicting warm family values. Our current presidential candidates could easily learn from this show.
