BunniiButt The only thing that sucked was how Netflix cancelled the show. Otherwise, this show is phenomenal it was cute, it was strikingly very progressive, it had love, it had hate. It had everything. The only thing it's missing is a second season.
emilycrawley I didn't expect to fall in love with Everything Sucks! as much as I did but unfortunately, I caught the lovebug and can't shake it away. It's one of Netflix's best original shows and it has brilliant LGBT+ representation. Do yourself a favor and binge on all of it then let Netflix know you want a renewal. #Reneweverythingsucks
treegoblin This show is wildly inconsistent. Some I loved, some I hated. Characters were inconsistent and most situations totally unrealistic. Essentially zero 90s feel other than songs and silly references. I did however think that a handful of the characters were casted pretty well, and most of the story lines kept you interested. The bottom line is, they tried too hard. Just when you thought it had a genuine feel again, boom, here comes a mood swing from Luke and a dumb line from their goofy friend Tyler to remind you that this was mostly a bomb. Ironically enough, they probably could've went back and edited the entire series in a day and made it way better just like Luke did with his movie. In all, it's a show that could make you feel good for a day or two, but you'd never recommend it to a friend.
marelpett-92402 I love this show! It's pure, honest, quirky, relatable and quite unique. The characters are realistic, not only because the kids actually look like real high school-kids, but also because they're struggling with real problems as teenagers, like exploring your sexuality, not fitting in or dealing with a lost parent. The show has a positive representation with a black male and a gay woman in the lead so I understand if young ones, and even older people, can relate to these characters. I didn't grow up in the 90's but I do love the music and the 90's-vibe overall.'Everything Sucks' is a well-written show with a great cast and a realistic story. The world needs more of this!
