passinivalerio After watching Heroes from season 1 to the beginning of season 3; I'm feeling bored and betrayed. The main characters are all a bunch of psychotic doing as much good things as bad things, but more of the latter, and turning from good to bad and vice-versa all the time. Just take a characters list and describe if one character is good or bad, you will find yourself in difficulty: only a few good characters which tend to die a lot or being troubled and fighting each others and a legion of evil characters dominating over the good ones. The fact is that you can not get attached to a character because sooner or later he will be eliminated and this will get to the point that someday you should have to like one of the antagonists you've always hated because in the meanwhile he turns out to be "good". They have abused in bad written twists and it looks like they are trying to tell us that having superpowers is just an hassle. This is really something disappointing in a superhero serial. Just watch the first season and don't go further.
John_Wagenvoort It seams that certain series follow a particular commercial selling formula.I've been watching this series on Netflix commercial free. I now realize why you need the commercials. It's to give one a break from the most mind numbingly drug induced dribble know to man. Come on give people some credit.Series one should have stopped right there. It was passable as a mini/midi series. There was a resolution so leave it there. But no. It had to continue on. So series two had one last shred of common sense left and from there it just turned to (S)tore (H)igh (I)n (T)transit. The only guy that has any credence as a character is Hiro. Some reincarnated Star Trek actors thrown in and obviously some very free thinking, round table binge nights and the rest of the series follows. This is is an exercise in getting an audience in and then simply selling ad time. Sorry, spoiler alert.
Vadim V All at least once in his life dreamed of having superpowers. Invisibility, teleportation, time management, the ability to fly, invulnerability, reading other people's thoughts. The list is endless. The series Heroes tells about ordinary people who have received this gift. But how do they use it? Someone began to use his powers to get rich, others for help and rescue the common people, and someone was not pleased with this gift and tried to live a simple life. Great idea. Excellent work of actors that makes you sympathize with all my heart and experience what is happening on the screen. The non-linear plot. All this makes the Heroes TV series about the best hit. It is unfortunate that there is no worthy finale. It was really hurt when the project is closed.
cjselvig I found this 2006 series started off well building characters and getting one hooked onto the television series. Unfortunately it seems like they used a large portion of the budget on the first few episodes after which the quality of the plot diminishes into overdrawn out dramatic acting. That or they switched from paying good writers to paying for more special effects. I found that the bad music and bad acting actually becomes sadly entertaining, although a waste of time. Overall, I recommend only watching up to episode 5 of season 1. After that, read the episode summaries so you don't waste your time :) This quick fade after the few episodes seems to be a common outcome with TV series these days. Or is it just me?
