One day he is roped into filming a commercial where he wears a dress. Another actor on the set, Ryoma Ichijo, mistakes him for a woman and falls in love at first sight. As it turns out, though, they met ten years in the past. And Ryoma feelings don't change when he finds out Izumi is a boy.

Izumi here. I’d never realized before just how hard Ryouma has worked for my sake… how many things he’s done for me, and how much I mean to him. Sorry it took me so long, Ryouma. But now, I finally know what my honest feelings are. So now it’s my turn to tell you how I feel! Wait for me, Ryouma. "I need to see Ryouma right now! I want to hold him in my arms right now!!"

Which Way Is Right?

Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid! I’m so stupid!! How could I, the great Ryouma Ichijou, not realize this?! Overnight, the entire country is abuzz with talk about the exciting new star IZUMI. It took all of that for me, the great Ryouma Ichijou, to finally realize that Izumi’s debut means the whole world will now learn of his adorableness!

Love Stage — Men's Style

Thanks for all your support, everyone! This is Shougo. The big press conference announcing my little brother Izumi’s show biz debut is just two days away! Now that I think about it, since my parents were always really busy with their careers, it was really me and Rei who took care of Izumi growing up.

EP7  Could This Be...

Could This Be...

Even the “Legendary Ryouma Ichijou” gets down sometimes, you know. And anyone would be down after having their greatest dream totally crushed... It hurts. There were so many times I nearly quit show biz, after getting rejected over and over again.

What Kind of Test Is That?

This is Sagara of Sena Productions once again. A... truly troubling situation has arisen. It seems some paparazzi photos of Izumi-san and Ichijou Ryouma are scheduled to appear in a gossip magazine. Though in a way, this could be an excellent opportunity to have Izumi-san make his show business debut!

EP5  Just a Little

Just a Little

Hello, Izumi here! So Ryouma and I are now texting buddies, but he keeps sending me a mountain of texts every day. Worse, he even showed up at my college--give me a break! (cries) But now’s not the time for me to get bogged down by something like that--the deadline for the Kadoyama Manga Prize is coming up!

If Only It Had All Been A Dream

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. I am Rei Sagara, a manger at Sena Productions. After filming the commercial, Izumi-san has regressed completely back into the world of otaku.

The Door to My Dreams

My name is Izumi Sena. My dad is a singer, my mom is an actress, my older brother is the vocalist of a popular rock band. In short, we’re a show biz family, and I, alone, am just an ordinary, average, antisocial college student.

Reviews

invisibleunicornninja This show is pretty bad. I say this being gay, so its not homophobia that makes me dislike it. This show was made for straight females, not the LGBT+ community. Animation - The visuals in this show are at best generic, and at worst not there. Very few scenes actually have backgrounds. This could be a stylistic choice, but honestly it comes off as lazy. Plot - Its a romance. The only plot is the two "love interests" getting together. Why would a romance actually have a plot?Audio - I watched this with the Japanese dub. Its not good. Honestly its pretty annoying. Characters - The main love interest is honestly a terrible person. He's homophobic and obnoxious. There is a scene where he sexually assaults the protagonist (I only managed to watch around 2 episodes after that, so I don't know if he gets any kind of consequences from that, but I don't think he does). The two "romantic leads" play into heteronormative stereotypes and don't have any chemistry. Its honestly uncomfortable to watch. I don't see how they could possible get together after everything that happens at the beginning.
amandaparkin-95519 Literally I am in love with this yaoi! Ok so Im gay myself (no hate pls) and last year I just discovered this yaoi and I instantly fell in love with it! This yaoi is now a big part of my life and I recommend all yaoi lovers to check this out (and the manga is fantastic as well)
Irishchatter I just really thought this anime series was absolutely great to watch. I just love the fact that the story is different from any other regular gay movies I've seen. I liked how the story goes as a little boy Sena was been made to dress up as a flower girl for a wedding commercial and making the other little boy Ryouma as the page boy fall in love with him without realising he's actually a boy. Then 10 years later they reunite, fall in love even more once things have settled down and became a couple. I even liked the characters different personalities. I thought Sena was like this shy introvert guy who just dreams of getting ahead of himself into becoming a manga artist but is not giving himself enough credit . Heck I would love to hire him as a manga artist in my company! (if only I had one lol) Ryouma is such a chap who just wants love from Sena because he loves him dearly. Both were just such a cute couple. As for Rei and Shougo, Rei is so much like a father figure to both Shougo and Sena even if he's only looking after them as a manager while the parents are busy with their acting careers. With Shougo, he is like a brother who you wish you had, he is so sweet to his younger brother Sena, hes easy going and protective of his brother also. I never ever thought Rei and Shougo were ever going to become a couple in the end, they didn't even give you hints that they were about to be together at all! Seriously, it blew my mind but I was happy though, they are cute too!Beautiful anime, brilliant voice actors, good music and the rest, 9/10 ^.^
