verbusen I'm a middle aged fan of some Adult Swim shows since Space Ghost Coast to Coast and The Brak Show days. The only excuse I can see for this show being in it's third season is that its a form of cartoon porn with satanism cults and bondage. I mean this was a one shot, to repeat the same single joke over and over means the viewership is looking for something else, and the only thing else I see from any comedy is cartoon porn. 1 of 10. I think shows like this are meant to warp minds.

lampadaire20002 When you watch one single episode of this cartoon you might find it amusing; but after this, every episode looks exactly the same .In fact the show try so hard to be shocking that at the end it's not shocking at all..it's seems to be done by a 13 year old kid only for other 13 years old teens...maybe because the "shocking material" is always the same: gore, BDSM and satanism . Characters and plot have no dimension beyond gross cliché and believe me :one single second from South Park is more subversive than the entire season of this show

chibbix You may see some reviews saying this shows not for everyone. That religious people won't like it. That Normies wont like it. That people with a weak stomach won't like it. Truth is people with a good sense of humor won't like it. I'm a pretty open minded guy and I have sat through many adult swim shows that were regarded as "bad" (drinky crow show, Brak show, 12 oz. Mouse, Assie Mc'gee, Squidbillies, Delocated, Perfect Hair Forever) and boy does this one blow them out of the water.Evey episode is the same thing:Mr pickles and Tommy are so cute. but, oh no they're surrounded by perverts/psychopaths. But don't worry; Mr. Pickles is the biggest perverted psychopath of them all and hes gonna rape all those horrible guys to death; but look out Mr. Pickles. Grandpas onto you! Don't worry tho guies Mr. Pickles is the epik level 9001 ninja who will never ever be caught in a bajillion million years dude! Also isn't the terribly drawn mom such a hot babe dude? That dumb sheriff sure wants some of her "pie" get it? Huh? Get it yet? Huh? Huh? *nudge*nudge*poke*stabwithpen*The artworks horrible. Flash, while not the worst animation tool, is used extremely poorly as you will notice watching it (pay attention to how often characters whole bodies are facing straight at the camera) The "jokes" are stale. superjail did the excessive bloody edgy humor first and did it much better. Speaking of edgy, this show makes coldsteel the hedgehog look like mother Teresa. No plot or character development as the suffers from "The Status Quo is God". Definitely a "absolutely must avoid like a highly infectious skin eating, mind deteriorating disease" kinda show. Also recommend against associating with people who claim to be fans of the show as they are probably not stable emotionally, mentally; or both.

Isaac Stump Mr. Pickles is described as being absolutely sick, twisted and hardcore. While these things are true, it disappoints me as an avid fan of the psychological thriller genre to see so many people highly praise a series for being so senselessly vulgar. I, personally, have never found myself cringe at the visuals within Mr. Pickles more than I did at the thoughtless presentation of the vulgarity. Mr. Pickles tries way too hard with shock humor and ends up being neither shocking nor humorous. With hardly ever any punchline or respite in sight, Mr. Pickles seems like its gory for the sake of being gory, and this seems to be enough to attract people who think edginess is cool -- but without a punchline or respite, the shock humor ends up becoming predictable, falling flat on its face, being more failed shock and loses the right to be considered a joke at all instead of a joke that failed. I normally go on to do longer reviews than this, but honestly, that paragraph describes all there is to describe when it comes to Mr. Pickles. I would not recommend this show to anybody -- even those who like gore and shock value would do better to go find somewhere else with more interesting context and a better plot to go along with it.
