This is the most terrible show of all the "ghost shows" out there. I know they are trying to tag teen girls into these shows, by the very subject matter, but it's so horribly written. I'm pretty sure the writer was a teen horror writer before writing these "screenplays" for this TV show. First of all (*SPOILER ALERT*) NO self respecting mother is going to go down into the basement of the sorority house her daughter lives in, and when she sees a mans face down there, doesn't call the police AND then okays her daughter still living there. I knew it was fake after I saw the first episode.The stories are supposed to be based on real events, no people, listen to me, this is from a writer. It's terrible writing too. Also equally horrible acting--everyone in this is an actor. Do not waste two minutes of your life on this show because you will regret it. If they had started this show and called it, "A novelist tells you fake ghost stories from college campuses around the world..." Then I would probably watch it because that description would, in the very least, be honest.

School Spirits so far is unique in fact its just like Paranormal Witness but centered around various colleges across America. I like this show because I want to know what colleges out there has "spirits". I believe in ghosts, I attended a college that supposed had paranormal activity. So, just hearing and watching the reenactments of the actual stories that people have told. This show as well as Paranormal Activity is quite frankly the scariest show on TV. This show has me on edge just waiting to hear/see what happened next. This is true ghost stories come to life. I recommend this show to anyone that believes in ghosts and anyone who likes a good scare. Overall, 7 out of 10!

While many people watch haunting shows for a good scare, I watch them more for comfort. It brings me great comfort to hear convincing accounts of real-life ghost encounters and hauntings. I really want to believe in an afterlife and that others and myself become ghosts upon death with all kinds of cool abilities. :)As of this review only 2 episodes have aired, but they were amazing, and convincing to me as a skeptic. From these 2 episodes if the witnesses are being honest on every detail then I'm convinced ghosts are real. I hope this show continues to have great episodes and becomes popular enough to continue for several seasons. I'm truly shocked & baffled by the low user rating at this time. It's beginning is the best I've seen out of all non-fiction ghost/haunting shows, and is great for a scare and for comfort.
