inmore Discovered this on Netflix a week ago... thank God for that. Great performances, sublime writing and enough drama and thrilling moments to keep you glued to your seats. Watch it!
dennis-563-14993 Fantastic tv serie and pretty much realistic!I will not say much but the ending was like not really what I was expecting but thats a good turn for me, very realistic way to decide by the judge... so sad decision at the end. I hope season 2 comes because its so much missing! Where did this girl death go? And the other three men justice?
mradarley-47661 I've put spoilers because I was disappointed with the finale although I think I understand it was trying to make a social and political point to what does happen or at least can happen in the American justice system. I personally like to see a definitive and where possible happy and positive ending but this is not and no justice is served. That all been said some of the acting in this show is outstanding. Fish is fantastic and it has to be said the baddies are first class actors also. It does start slowly but by epsidoe 4 I was gripped. Definitely worth watching on Netflix and would be interested to read what others thought of the ending.
garretgray-668-282691 Despite the story being interesting it has every Netflix cliche in the book right down to a main character vomiting from emotional turmoil, which is getting downright laughable as it's in most every show. Then you have the rookie with a newborn riding around with stereotypical tough talking Jersey cops who of course aren't good cops. There's the main character with a shadowy past and therefore has an alcohol problem. Then there's the scene where a character just happens to recognize the killer on the street, a person she recognizes from a dark hospital room. Technically it's has great New Jersey locations. It's shot really dark, probably using minimal production lighting. I don't know what to think about that other than it called attention to itself. That said, the story is intriguing but it's such a slow burn of people suffering, long whispered conversations and darkness that is being overused lately. it probably could've been a great 2 hour film.
