Emma is a middle-aged woman, who has been widowed ten years after her marriage with a successful entrepreneur and inherited his business. One day she visits her daughter who studies in Italy in order to take a long break from her duties as the owner of the company. This trip will change her life forever as she meets a charming bodyguard in the hotel where Emma stays. After spending a night full of passion they have to say goodbye. With Roberto gone, Emma is left feeling empty and lost. She tries to distract herself with work and spending time with her friends, but the longing for Roberto is always there.
