Soccer AM is a British Saturday-morning football-based comedy/talk show, predominantly based around the Premier League. Originally presented by Jane Hoffen, Gary Stevens and Russ Williams, they lasted just a year before Helen Chamberlain and Tim Lovejoy replaced them, where Lovejoy served for over a decade. He has since been replaced by Andy Goldstein and, more recently, Max Rushden. The show has been aired on Sky Sports 2 each Saturday morning of the football season since 1995 from 7:00am or 9:00am to noon originally and currently between 10:00am and 12:00pm. In early 2009, the 500th episode was broadcast. Although the show is filmed live from 2010 it has been broadcast on a momentary delay due to bad language and/or inappropriate content from certain guests. The show's current sponsor is Procter & Gamble through their Head & Shoulders brand. The show was previously sponsored by Frijj, a brand of milkshake, after Dairy Crest signed a £2 million sponsorship deal. Parts of the show have remained since the beginning, whilst new items have been introduced each season. In that respect, it is almost the same every week, the difference being new football footage and comedy skits. Every week sees a new group of celebrity guests, generally featuring at least one footballer who is free on the Saturday, and a mix of musicians, TV personalities, and other sportsmen.

BigBadaBruce You wake up at 9.00 on a Saturday morning, get yourself a hot drink, and sit down willing yourself to wake up. There's that, or having three brilliant hours of unique humour and entertainment from Tim, Helen and the gang as they entertain Footballers and Musicians alike. The humour isn't exactly trying and is such so that a teenager and his parents are all able to enjoy watching this. With the Soccerrettes, the Penalty Shoot-outs, the interviews, the out-takes of the footballing world and a show of skill, this is a great recipe for an early Saturday show to mong into. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! easy! easy! easy! YOU SHUT UP! easy! easy! easy!
hamilton89 Soccer am is by far the greatest TV programme ever. Every week it gets funnier, the main gags, topless weather, etc... All these things make soccer am what it is. But the man who i personally think makes the show brilliant is Sheephead (Joe Worsley), you thought Lovejoy was a legend, well this guy is a much bigger legend. He is probably the funniest on the show, doing both 'Topless weather' and the main gags, and he also uses the same line every week on the main gag and i never get tired of hearing it, the line is "anyway got to make a stop off in Russia.....so Moscow". The best main gag ever was probably last season, when the 'Crash test dummies' arrived, that was absolutely hilarious, i was absolutely splitting my sides with laughter. But what run that close was the 'Austrailian rules football' where Sheephead and Fenners were dressed up in Aussie rules football gear, that was hilarious because Lovejoy got smacked right across the head by fenners, it wasn't intentional but it was funny. And another hilarious thing that has happened to Lovejoy on the show was when he was being big headed in front of the soccerette saying "im to sexy for my crew" so someone kicked a football right where the sun doesn't shine. So you see its things like this that have made Soccer AM such a successful show, and thats just a little taster of the hundreds of things that have happened on this legendary show
wozzasfc This has been going for over 10 years now, and is still the one and only football show that counts. Tim and Helen have the best rapport you could ever see with their constant sniping at one another's football team, but never being offencive.I try to catch this show every weekend, and if you are a soccer fan, you should too. There are guest musicians, great running series' within the show, any star footballer that is injured will normally be guesting that week, and then there's the comedy which is non-stop and very slapstick at times. If you are not a fan of football, there are worse places than this to try and become a fan. If you are a fan of football, you will watch this religiously. Helen is really fit too which definitely adds the appeal for the male audience. Give it a go...you might like it!!!
slimm I Watch This show every single week and have done for about 5 years and the humour gets better and better every week, Tim is just hilarious and some of the segments are really good and interesting it is a must see show for anyone who watches football especially if your a chelsea supporter
