centipede-25367 This documentary's topic is the size of that small piece of meat with a liberal dose of meat extender. It's padded but there's no real meat in it. The same points are repeated frequently thst this show could have been just an hour and a half long to get to the end. Neil, the grandson of the convicted killer, seems like a pawn to add to the unlimited supply of Sam's waterworks. Both the mother and son seem to get more and more emotional as each episode progresses. And the use of the word "progress" is loosely used.
niallsop This is a truly awful series ... don't waste your time. As others have noted, it would have been just as interesting as a one-episode, 20-minute, mini-series. The main presenter, an ex-detective, has as much charisma as an ash-tray. How any producer fell for this series is beyond belief. The female journalist, Branagh Munro, who does something similar for the BBC is light-years more authoritative and thorough. Curious how the only 8-star review appeared here just a week before the screening of Series 2 ... don't fall for it, watch paint dry instead.
ibegeorgeus This programme was boring, in as much that it had constant repeats of information. A spoiler, is that they did not come up with an answer, to he daughter's wish, to find out, definitely, what happened to her mother. This programme would have been interesting, if it had been condensed, into, perhaps an hour or 90 minutes, however, I had no knowledge of this case, before viewing
neilnmarty-05613 This could be considered a spoiler, except there really was no ending. Totally repetitious and at the end you don't know any more than at the beginning. I can't believe this is up for consideration as a series. With so many superb British mysteries, the only mystery here is why anyone would make it. Unfortunately I'm not getting those four hours back.
