Once upon a time, The Jerry Springer show was actually very entertaining. It was very amusing and hilarious seeing losers, trailer trash, dropkicks, midgets, and generally very unlikeable people make complete fools of themselves on national television. Despite the show being in bad test, it was pure entertainment. The main theme of the show was often outrageous and politically incorrect, and it was entertaining seeing couples, lovers, and dysfunctional families fight each other on stage and security led by the bulky, bald headed Steve would get the guests under control. Year later, after becoming a little older and wiser I checked out Jerry Springer after not having seen the show in a long time and I was dismayed that the show had not changed in the slightest although the quality of the show had gone downhill. The novelty had worn very thin over the years. The show I once found amusing was no longer funny and entertaining. Instead, I was repulsed by the show. How times change.If The Jerry Springer Show is still classed as entertainment after all these years, then this is a sorry state of affairs. The show might get guests their 15 minutes of fame, but it doesn't improve their lives at all but rather make utter fools of themselves on national TV. Anyone who participates in the live audience should hang their heads in shame. Perhaps it may be time for Jerry Springer to call it a day. Till next time, take care of yourselves and each other.3/10.

Okay, so this is yet another talk show I managed to find and because of it's reputation as being probably one of the worst talk shows ever made and I agree even as someone who doesn't watch talk shows. I mean this is bad, I mean really really bad.Okay so the premise. Jerry Springer has guests and problems so over-the-top Jerry Lewis, Jim Carey, Baz Lurhmann, Charlie Sheen, Rik Mayall, Adrian Emondson and John Tavolta in a bag would be trying to teach them something about subtlety. They don't even talk their problems over they just beat the crap out of each other... Some talk show! They don't talk about it, they don't resolve their problems (or pretend to solve their problems). They just shout at each other and beat each other up.Okay so here are the situations "Okay, get an actor and have him act out a Klansmen and put him in the same room as some African Americans" "Have a man and a woman act out as a couple but have the woman say she was originally a man". All I had to do was type in "Jerry Springer" into YouTube (I have way too much free time on my hands) and I know that takes up about 2/3 of every single episode. This also contains people saying they're into bestiality, people saying they're bigger whores than the producers of a straight-to-DVD Disney sequel (Apologies to the producers of straight-to-DVD Disney Sequels everywhere!) and pretty much any over-the-top situation that you can think of. I almost expect "My father is evil and wants to take over the world" and "My daddy is a space monster" to be on the show but Austin Powers and The Simpsons beat them to it, Aside from that they look like legit episodes.Do I even need to sum up what I think of it?

This show is without question a national disgrace. Its no wonder people in other countries think Americans are nothing but a bunch of fat ignorant boneheads. Where do they find these creeps to be on this show? Are peoples lives really this bankrupt to go in front of a national audience to yell and scream profanities about who slept with who and what child may have been fathered by some lowlife.If you have ever listened to Jerry Springer talk about important topics regarding politics you will discover he really is a smart well informed man. I mean he used to be the mayor of Cinninnati. He really must have been offered a lot of money to be a part of this pathetic show.Americas greatest generation was without a doubt during the 1940's. What has happened in the time since? Americans used to be an honorable people who had self-respect and would never be caught dead on a show like this.Can only wonder what it will be like in 60 years.....

The Jerry Springer is one of the best talk-shows I ever seen compared with all the other talk shows, Maury, Sally, Montel, etc. I watch it every day Mon to Fri, 5 days a week, with all the guests fighting all the time every day, and always funny, and fun to watch. But for the people who don't like the Jerry Springer Show, all I can say is you don't have to watch it, if you don't like what you see on TV just change the channel, it's that easy click. But for me I watch it all the time, and one of the best shows to watch. The show has been on the air for 15 year, and hope to get 15 more. And hope the show never ends, it is one of the best!!!
