Reviews

beauty-19755 I've been wanting to write a complimentary review about The King of Queens for a long time. I watch it almost every day. I have my DVR set. Even though I've seen all the episodes many times I continue to be entertained and love the show so much. It's so rare that a show contains everything and gels together so well. Great cast, great writing, great acting which always seems so natural to me. I'm grateful the show is in syndication so I can keep watching it. All the cast members are outstanding and seem to fit perfectly in the show. Of coarse Doug & Carrie, Arthur (Jerry Stiller) who is so great!, also Holly, Deacon, even Carrie's boss (Doug Pruzan), Alex Skuby, who occasionally is in some scenes cracks me up too, along with Doug's IPS boss, Mr. O'Boyle. The comedic timing and chemistry between Leah Remini & Kevin James is outstanding. This is one of my top all time favorite shows. Classic!
saginawslim It never occurs to me to watch this show. But, every time I watch it, I find myself laughing. The writing is actually quite good. It's an underrated show.Kevin James is just plain funny.Leah Remini is so damn sexy and cute.
Jessica L. Jacobs (Jess_Jacobs) Let me start off by saying that I have not watched one bit of this show until I purchased all nine seasons (the complete series) on DVD just after Christmas of 2015. I finished watching the whole series on 3/5/2015. As you can see, I am soooo behind the times with watching this show that honestly made me laugh out loud so many times. If I am being honest, I never cared for Kevin James as an actor but I had only seen him in that Mall Cop movie. But when I began watching him in KOQ, I fell in love with his acting and comedic abilities. As for Leah Remini, she reminds me of myself. Like, a lot, lol. I think both Kevin James and Leah Remini were perfectly cast for the roles they played and their mutual connection on the show seemed believable. Then bring in Jerry Stiller who play's Leah's father on there and you have a comedic trifecta!I have no idea why it took me so darned long to watch this awesome show but I am glad I did. I just wish the season finale would have been done better. It felt rushed to me. Overall, I gave this show a 9/10 stars.
Michele7169 This is one of those shows you can watch every episode over and over again and laugh every time. The chemistry between Kevin James and Leah Remini is the kind that's once in a lifetime. That was a comedy match in heaven. The characters on this show are easy to identify with and very likable. The writers did an excellent job sticking to everyday story lines but injecting such humor you forget how bad your day may have been while dealing with the same issue! If you haven't given this show a chance you should..it's worth the time and the watch. My hubby got me every episode on DVD and I take them on long trips and it makes the travel time go so fast. Love it!!
