Aari Jabar The actors, the camerawork, the scenery, the dialogue and the story, I lack words as to how perfectly executed it all was.It is all fiction. You can tell from the camerawork, the characters, the dialogue - that this is a TV-show. I Commend that because they don't try to follow real-life events to the nail, instead, they do whatever they can to grant the viewer a wonderful TV-experience with completely captivating camerawork and characters. The suspense and tension in some scenes just blow my mind. I'm simply amazed.Sure, some "insight" is given to how brazil government works, but absolutely no conclusions is to be made from it, as this is just one brilliant TV-series that obviously did not try to give the viewer a lesson on how brazil works. The first season has left me baffled and I just can't wait for another season. I NEED MORE
souto-victor The director José Padilha once again achieves greatness. He is able to create an amazing and interesting series from start till the very end, based on real facts.
nikanastasiou I accidentally found this series and because it's Easter, I watched the first episode. Ended up finishing the series in one and a half days. Netflix at its best. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The actors are great, the directors have made a very good job and despite their claims, the story is pretty damn close to the real "Operation Car Wash". In some aspects, it reminded me of Narcos. It's like combining Narcos with House of Cards. In Portuguese. I would give it a perfect ten. But, there are two things that made me reconsider. 1. At some points, it feels rushed. It would have been even better with two more episodes. 2. The main characters lack development and we don't always understand their motives.
rodrigomourav It is a decent show with a good and well worked theme. Has its flaws on direction, dialogues and some major scenes but nothing too bad. The deal with the 10/10 and 1/10 reviews are majority 'political war', with not much sense since the series don't take a political sides as corrupted (not everyone can see it, unfortunately).Don't watch it thinking you're going to see the next 'The Wire', but definitely worth watching if you wants to know (the romanticized) corruption of Brazil.
