I like series when they are creative, but Winx Club is a cashgrab by itself. Nickelodeon, 4Kids and all the other kids networks decided to greenlight this crap. The animation is cheap, and it felt like the animators never even knew how to draw someone who's supposed to have an average mass. They also encourage skimpy outfits at a young age, so tell me, is this a teen fantasy or a kid's show? I do not think that the girls have superpowers, but I think they should eat steaks in order to gain power! It had multiple spinoffs, video games and movies, so thankfully, I'm in the minority who thinks that this one is abysmal beyond comprehension. MLP:FIM tried to add developed characters along with passable animation. I'm not a brony myself, but I liked the effort MLP put in. Winx Club does not deserve to be watched in my opinion, and I would never recommend it to parents out there.

First three seasons of Winx Club are definitely one my favorite cartoons ever. First season had a great story of Bloom's past and about how she's discovering who she really is and about her real family. You can see her turning from a normal teenage girl to a strong fairy. Second season focuses on a new character - Layla (or Aisha), while third season focuses on the new powers. Now, what's the most important in each of these seasons is that every main character has screen time and personality - which most of them lost in the new seasons. Those three seasons have a normal and very interesting story that makes sense and it is clearly shown that it is not some random stupid cartoon for 5-years-old kids. You can see that writers really cared about this show. Then there was an amazing movie after S3 that finished Bloom's story. And this should have been the end of Winx Club. But no, they ruined it.Season 4 is just OK. Story about fairies on Earth is very good, but it could have been done so much better. It is missing action, especially through the middle of S4. And they added so many unnecessary transformations, sub-transformations, wings or whatever. And why did they even kill Nabu? Like for no reason. And then Season 5 - where they completely destroyed Winx Club. Where do I start? First of all, it was turned to a cartoon for 5-years-old kids which it wasn't before. Main characters completely lost their personality, all of them used to be somebody and had their traits, and since S5, they are all the same. Bloom, who was once a lovable young girl discovering about her life, is now bossy and not nice anymore at all. Stella became very annoying, and others? They don't exist anymore, especially Musa and Tecna. It's like they are out of club. And Trix used to be evil and their evil ambitions made sense, but now they're just ridiculous and dumb. Bloom is the one who talks and does everything, Stella adds some very unfunny comments to what Bloom said and everyone else is just walking next to them. That's how new episodes feel to me, especially season 7.There's no more character progress, no more story continuity, no more plots that make you want to watch the next episode. They used to fight the evil, show us about true friendship and love, and now? Now Bloom's walking around and rescuing some stupid animals and others are following her quietly. And that's it - everything that could possibly be ruined is now ruined. This show has became all about Bloom and those new ridiculous transformations. They even named a transformation after her - Bloomix. Are you kidding me? Transformation used to be a thing that gives them new powers and looks, but now they all have the same clothing and they just dance around. I know that is what's perfect for young children, but why didn't the writers care about those who are fans of old Winx Club?To sum up, it became a very very sad TV show.

It use to be such a cute show.i was interested in it. But then, it just kept going on and on . you know how total drama island kept going on with the new islands and seasons? It was annoying and people barley watched it anymore, but it got good when they finally ended it. winx club just kept going on. Idk how many seasons, but every season had the typical, love interest, some evil great threat(s), something goes wrong or gets stolen, (one unimportant character dies), winx save the day. Oh I and I cant forget the god damn new power they earn every season. Winx, charminx, believex, random words with x added on. The transformations took to long , which ended the episode in a to be continued. but idk what year, but they just kept putting new episodes on Sundays. I didn't know, nickelodeon never alerted that there would be new episodes.. No one expected it because they thought the series was finally over. NO. I check back a week or 2 and there are no more new episodes. Its done, no more to be seen. I don't even think that show finished, but I don't care. No one did.

It's honestly not very bad which is surprising since 4kids is the company who did this. It's not perfect but it's not bad.1. The characters are okay. I like Bloom and her voice acting wasn't bad. I found her to be a good representation of what a human girl would do if she was a fairy. She's not perfect and makes mistakes but she does learn to not let her enemies knock her down. That's a good role model. Her friends are okay. Stella can be a bit annoying and Flora doesn't have the best voice actress working with her. Musa was pretty good, I liked Tecna and Layla was a cool tomboy. Plus the three villains witches Icy, Darcy and Stormy are cool villains and just love being evil.2. The romance is pretty good. I like Sky and Bloom together. Their dialog can be a bit annoying but it's good. Stella and Brandon don't have good chemistry sadly. Just a bunch of cute pet nicknames and such. Musa and Riven have more of a realistic relationship. Tecna and Timmy are so adorable together. However Layla and Nabu were my favorite couple. So the romance is pretty good.3. The story flows pretty well together. I like how they have different powers and those types of powers are imaginative too. I like the battles they have and I like trying to find out more about Blooms past.4. The art is a sight to see. It's pretty and colorful but can be dark and menacing when needed. The backgrounds look pretty, the characters are modeled well and the other creatures are fascinating. There are a few things that hold back this from being great like how some romances don't work, some of the magic can be a bit head scratching, the girls can be a bit annoying and of course some 4kids voice acting for secondary characters is pretty bad. However if curiosity is begging you to watch this. You should watch it.
