So, I can't say that I hate the show, but my honest opinion is that it's really not all that well written. While I do understand it's meant to be more of a campy action SyFy show, the characters lack depth. I was looking for something with a strong female lead and this show was recommended, but it really falls short of that, at least in my opinion. Staying true to form, like a lot of sci fi themed shows, so many unnecessary problems could be avoided if time wasn't wasted trying to make not-so-pity remarks that leave you rolling your eyes and groaning, "Just figure your sh!% out already!" And the phrase "baby girl" can, and is, used much too frequently.Additionally there were 2 things that bothered me a little with the storyline at the basic foundation. Maybe it's because I'm a history/etymology nerd, but I've read that "Winona" means "first-born daughter" in Dakota, but it's clearly given to a middle child, with a spelling modification. The other, more pressing peeve, is that Wyatt Earp never had any children that lived and it's actually documented pretty well by a cousin of Wyatt's. I suppose there's always a chance of illegitimate offspring, but there's not much documented proof of that either. Descendant of the Earp clan, cool, I can get behind that claim. Great-great granddaughter of Wyatt Earp? Not so much.

Seen two episodes of season 3, and I think about a fiver has been spent on each. So, so, so, cheaply made and it shows. Long, long time filler parts with little or no action. Very few actors used and now it looks like one major character is gone easing the budget even more. But one thing stays the same, Wynonna's mumbling. Very difficult to pick up most of what she says.

Alright. I don't have much to say about this series, since I couldn't really force myself to dig deeper into the material. I watched the first season and it is horrible. I don't care about the budget. There are plenty low budget shows that are enjoyable, but this is torture. The premise is alright. Deamons romaing the planet and having their own evil plan and someone needs to stop them blablabla whatever. Nothing original, but you could work with that.
But the problem is, that these characters are soulless. You got your broken protagonist, who is actually fulfilling every possible stereotype and still manages to be so incredibly unlikeable and stupid. I am absolutely baffled by the actresses skill to be so annoying.
And the rest of the cast isn't even worth mentioning. Annoying, badly written, just there to fulfill a single goal without giving them a decent backstory that could motivate them. No idea how to make a charakter interesting? Make the hot girl develope a crush on the only other hot girl in the show, so that some narrow minded people have some lesbian action to watch.
I don't know how this was renewed for a third season. I am actually mad about that.

Ok peoples, I never did one of these before but blah blah, it doesn't matter. Read this...This series is awesome. It goes like this:You start watching when you are hangover because you are sick of all the other netflix shit, so you watch something easy, I mean you like history, you know Wyat Earp - maybe, sweet, easy. Guns and shit, awesome.So, the first thing, you say is, what the fuck, these graphics are god awful. And yes they are, I get you, you are right. Just put your head down and bare the hangover, it's too much effort to change the channel right. Is it like Buffy you say?Suddenly, you and emotionally invested. Fuck. Make some grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup, keep watching. Now you have to go to bed, fuck, you've watched enough. But you wake up with it in the back of your head. After work you keep watching and all the pieces fall into place and you realize you are a complete fan and you are pinteresting wynonna earp, stop, lets be honest, you are looking up 'weyhought' . Shh, somehow you are addicted.Keep watching, it's worth it.
