The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?" Across the globe and in America, people in 2008 hungered for a leader who would unite and lift us from economic turmoil and war. True to Americas ideals, they invested their hope in a new kind of president, Barack Obama. What they didn't know is that Obama is a man with a past, and in powerful ways that past defines him--who he is, how he thinks, and where he intends to take America and the world.

travism-44784 Obama is a dirtbag, which everyone knows. Possibly the worst president ever and now his bogus presidency is being revealed.
george51988 Really hope, these people stick to their dirty polictics and leave movies to people who actually do it.
bugtheroot67 My wife and I went to watch the film prior to Obama's re-election. We literally had the last two seats in the theater, for the last show of the day, they were selling out so quickly. It's a shame more people didn't watch the film and really think about the message. One must put the film in context. At the time D'Souza made his film, a great many people were still arguing about whether or not Obama was actually born in the USA, if he was actually eligible to become President in the first place, much less for a second term, and those who questioned Obama were immediately attacked and labeled by the Democrat machine as racists.D'Souza avoided the so-called "Birther" argument and instead took a unique tack: by closely analyzing Obama's admitted history--taken from his own memoir--and retracing his steps, D'Souza wanted to interview those who personally knew Obama and his family and reveal who the people were that were his influences, in order to then determine what his real world-view was.It is true that the introduction seemed long, but there is good reason for this; to counter the inevitable accusation of "racist", D'Souza spelled out how much he had in common with Obama, and how, initially, he was intrigued by him. But how that intrigue had given way to suspicion and then alarm by what he had written about himself (if you believe he actually wrote is own memoir) and what he said he intended to do.By the time he actually retraces Obama's steps an influences, the argument is well made; Obama's world view was formed by his expatriot mother, whose virulent anti-American beliefs were core to her divorce from her "second" husband, Soetero, as well as those of his estranged "biological father", Barack Obama senior. Obama was steeped in anti-colonial revolutionary philosophy, surrounded by well known Marxists who influenced Obama for decades, closely, and personally.D'Souza backs up every step of his argument, allowing close associates, friends and even family to explain both Obama Sr and Jr. And the conclusion about Obama's intentions are then both shocking and quite believable. The fact is, that more than 2 years after I saw the film, real historical events appear to have confirmed Obama's intentions. From Fast and Furious to Benghazi, arming of Islamists in Libya and Syria, the treatment of the Fort Hood shooter to his clear preference for Muslim "revolutionaries", his constant use of class envy and race tensions to divide the nation, and his attempts to weaken US influence and "lead from behind" around the world, all validate Obama's perverse views of the USA and his desire to weaken her. Most recently, his actions regarding the flood of illegal immigrants seems to yet again demonstrate that Obama will do ANYTHING to "fundamentally transform" the USA and knock her down several pegs.Considering what a great country this once was, and how deeply troubled it now appears to be under his "rule" - rather than governance - leaves us wondering why this has been tolerated, and if the nation will ever recover from this betrayal from within.
Mags Johnson I saw this movie two years ago. What I remember is sadly coming true! It was a great movie. In the show what scared me the most was the Islamic States that end up outlined with barbed wire. Now we ISIS gaining ground and D'Souza's prediction is coming true! Why doesn't the United States elect a leader that can lead. The Presidency is a JOB and we have to hire someone who can do it. It is not a personality position! I will watch this movie again because it predicts what is happening now!! Both this movie and the new America movie should be shown in history classes around the USA. We need to renew the spirit of loving America. Dinesh is doing such a good job! Spread the word and have folks watch this.
