I found this very very boring especially for a kids film! Like I think kids would and wouldn't understand this film! They probably would understand a little detail on who the characters are but I don't think they would understand what it's really about.As an adult, I just think it wasn't that great or enjoyable to watch.Like any person would do if they watch a boring film, skip the rest and onto the ending which was also bad too!It really has been a disappointing movie night for me and I just think this is the worst movies I have ever in my life came across! I really with I could give this a zero instead of a one!

I have seen quite a few European animated features over the years and most of which, have been just about watchable.So when A Monster In Paris arrived, I was a pretty much in the same boat even before viewing... Regardless, I took our 2 kids along and was pleasantly surprised!Yes a few jokes fall flat, but hey - the attention to detail and musical numbers quickly take that away and leave you with a huge smile on your face. That noted, we watched it again last night and the kids are still singing the songs this morning...A Monster In Paris is a delightful family film, void of the over powering Disney Pixar and even Dreamworks moral crap that is thrust in our faces. This is just genuine fun and beautiful to watch!Enjoy!!

MONSTER IN Paris.It was good.I like animated films and am in particular a big Disney fan. Now this film is not made by Disney, but is still pretty good.The story is about a scientist's equipment being messed about with and a flea from a monkey gets enlarged and goes roaming around Paris. But when it turns out that the flea has a good singing voice, he makes a few friends and must escape the people trying to catch him and kill him.The story is pretty good and the animation is also really well done. As most other cartoon movies, there are some songs in it, but they are good too. I thought there was one song in particular that was really catchy.I watched this with my 11 year old daughter and my girlfriend. My daughter liked it a lot, but my girlfriend thought it was average at best.There are some really funny parts in the film which made us all laugh out loud too.At no point in the movie were any of us bored or distracted from it. I really loved and enjoyed the movie. Made by french animators with a modest budget, this movie rocked my world. the soundtrack is awesome., specially la seine. Francoeur makes your eyes wet. The Paris in 1910 is very well created. Not only kids enjoy this movie,but also as an adult you can enjoy it alongside your children. The emotional scenes are well developed. It is unfair to give only 1/10 to this title. Just because it isn't made of Hollywood does't mean it isn't cool. In addition, 85% of the mainstream Hollywood media is totally disappointing. Overall, if you want family fun and a great musical animation go for Un Monstre a Paris. I find it the fifth best animated movie after Monsters Inc, Up, How to train your dragon and Toy Story franchise.
